To carry on my mothers legacy as a florist. Designing meaningful floral so every client feels cared for and stress free. Special Occasion Designs is an Indianapolis based floral business that specializes in weddings and any other celebration that calls for “something special.”

We can design all of your floral and decor to add that extra sparkle and finishing touch to your event. We do custom designs to create that overall style and feeling you are wanting for your day. We work with both fresh and silk flowers and can handle a variety of projects to meet your event decor needs. We will work with each client to make sure that their special day or event is just as you envision.

    Chrissy did a fantastic job with our wedding. We told her the colors/vision we wanted, she said I will take it from there, and they turned out perfect. We made a change at the last minute to a smaller ceremony and Chrissy made the change simple. The flowers on the day of the wedding turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Bold and absolutely stunning, we received so many compliments! Chrissy was fantastic to work with and made our day that much more special. Chrissy's eye for detail and high level of communication made us feel so comforted. We would recommend her to everyone!

    Chrissy is one of the greatest people to work with. You can tell that she loves and is passionate about what she does, and she does it with professionalism. She is great at communicating with the client, other vendors, and she knows the event industry so well. To top it off, her floral pieces always draw a room together and helps make the event beautiful!
