Amy Jones Baskin is the founder and master artist of Beauty on Location NJ. She was trained in London and New York City before creating and leading her bustling bridal makeup business. Amy is well-versed in a variety of makeup styles, including traditional and airbrush foundation as well as brow sculpting. Amy’s passion is making every bride-to-be look and feel beautiful through her steady skills and hand. Any given day, you can find Amy in her Morristown studio, with a bride sitting in a makeup chair and Amy’s trusted little companion Ellie by her feet.

    Holly from Beauty on Location did my makeup for my wedding in September 2023, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Communication with Beauty on Location was great from day one, and it was easy to schedule a trial and book my wedding day. I thought I knew what I wanted going into our trial, but after hemming and hawing for a few weeks afterward, I decided I wanted to go for a different look. Holly was very understanding, but since I wasn't able to go back for another trial, I was a little nervous about if she would understand my vision. Well, there was no need to worry- Holly knocked it out of the park! My makeup looked extremely natural (which was my primary concern), but still enhanced everything I wanted to enhance. Besides my makeup, she also singlehandedly did 4 bridesmaids and 2 mothers. Everybody looked natural and gorgeous, and she was able to work with everyone's different skin colors, types, and textures. She even had hairspray on hand so that she could touch us up after the hair team left! Plus, my makeup lasted all night, through all the crying, eating, and dancing! I highly recommend Beauty on Location and Holly!

    Beauty on Location was great to work with. Very communicative and made the process super easy. Mahrukh was our makeup artist and she was fantastic. Was able to suggest a look but also tailor it to the bride's preferences. Additionally the bridal party wanted looks from very natural to super glam and she was able to do it all. Received so many compliments on how good everyone looked!

    I sought out BOL specifically because it was the exact make up I wanted and it’s a littleeee hard to come by in my area of NJ. The airbrushed, skin like porcelain, no make up make up look which I know is a specific vibe but Omg they exceeded my expectations people could not believe how my skin looked and it photographed better than I can articulate at the same time. Loved Erin and all of my girls were obsessed And so many preferred over traditional glam.
