    I used Capelli & Trucco for make-up services for my May 2023 wedding and was so happy with their work! I did my trial the morning of my bridal shower and loved how my make up came out. I got so many compliments! They did make up on my wedding day for me, 7 bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG. Everyone loved how their make-up turned out. They do a great job at achieving a polished and glamorous look while still having it look natural on everyone. The MUA’s were so friendly and worked with each girl to achieve the look that fit them best. They were efficient and had us all ready in time for the photographers to arrive.

    I’m not one to leave a review however, the way we were treated by Capelli & Trucco was absolutely unprofessional. We originally contracted with Capelli & Trucco about a year and a half out from our wedding date. Within our contract stated the location of where our wedding would be. They are located in Philadelphia and the wedding was near Lancaster, PA. Within our contract, we also agreed to pay the additional fee for mileage due to travel distance. About 6 months before our wedding (a whole year after they received my deposit and both parties signed the contract), Capelli and Trucco emailed me stating they would no longer honor the signed contract. In this email, it did not provide a reason why. I obviously frantically emailed them asking why the contract would not be honored. They stated that it would be in both of our best interest to go our separate ways due to the time it would take their stylists to travel to the wedding. All in all, the owner was absolutely horrendous to work with. They not only were very rude but refused to even provide any recommendations for additional services given the short timeframe I had to find a new company. I’d like to also note that our photographer came from Philadelphia with absolutely no issues whatsoever. The distance from door to door was an hour and a half and again, this was already agreed upon in the contract a year and a half prior.

    Hair & makeup can be one of the most stressful parts of a brides big day and Capelli & Trucco completely exceeded expectations and received rave reviews from my entire bridal party. Samantha and Nay did my (bride) hair & makeup and I genuinely never felt more beautiful. I made quite a few changes after my initial trial and they both handled them with grace and executed my vision flawlessly. Also have to shout-out Kate, their Bridal Experience Manager who was so easy to work with--responsive, thorough and friendly. Can't recommend C&T enough!!
