Renowned editorial hairstylist, Damian Monzillo, has brought creativity and life into countless looks for over 25 years. His work is featured on the covers and in pages of top fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle, and Glamour. His extensive portfolio celebrities such as Helena Christensen, Christina Hendricks, and Dita Von Teese. After attending Art School and the Vidal Sassoon Academy, he pursued his passion for technical knowledge and sculptural styling at the Alexandre de Paris Academy. He has traveled extensively, styling all types of hair and teaching all around the globe.

30 years of high end experience from Art Directing the Red Door Salon at Elizabeth Arden, traveling to educate internationally with many different brands, to working as a freelance artist for the last 20 years which includes A list celebrities, the cover of Vogue, French Elle, Marie Claire UK to name a few.     I highly recommend Damian! He’s brilliant! He has hair style powers to create magnificent stylings and hair cuts that elevate your beauty three fold. He is a secret weapon for me, a master at his craft- a true craftsman. Whatever your event may be, I am confident he will execute your vision with a touch of his divine inspiration and the exact precision required through his highly trained skills. I was looking for an exceptional and experienced hair stylist for my engagement party when I found Damian. He couldn’t have been a more perfect fit. The theme of our engagement party was roaring 20s to be held at the National Arts Club in Gramercy park. This was a once in a lifetime experience for me and I wanted to ensure I had the most exquisite hair style for the occasion. He was so very generous in crafting with his creativity and care to up level my look. I wanted the best and the best is what I found !!!Thé service he provides is very thorough and supportive. Hé came to my home a week before the event and gave me a hair cut which was a work of art in itself. He does this so your hair is perfectly primed for styling. After discussing my event, he studied my gown with a thoughtful eye and created gorgeous waves in the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Rita Hayworth. I was euphoric. Knowing the hair I would have my special night gave me more confidence and a sense of ease to surrender a bit more to enjoying the time leading up to the event. He made me feel so beautiful so much that when the big day arrived, I decided to have him cut & style my fiancé’s hair as well as his kids. They were all so very happy and felt very good about how they looked after he helped style them for thé évent. He was an integral part in the success of our engagement party and I am forever grateful for his brilliance and support.

    Damian styled my hair, as well as the bridesmaids and flower girls for my wedding a few years ago. I chose him for his vast knowledge of both retro and romantic styles. He is a wonderful presence to have around when nerves run high. The day was honestly more fun because he was a part of it. Damian was incredibly sweet with two tiny flower girls, too! I’ve since had the opportunity to work with Damian in a different capacity on photoshoots, and all of the above stills rings true. He is completely unflappable in all situations, and always goes above and beyond. I truly can’t say enough.

    Damian did my hair for my wedding and it could not have been more perfect! We did a trial run before hand, which was just as lovely. The day of my wedding he came to where I was staying, made me feel as relaxed as I could be for my wedding day, was gentle, took his time, while sticking to our schedule, and just did an outstanding job. He gave me a giant beehive that lasted all day. Damian is extremely talented in his work, and also the most delightful, kind person you could find. I would recommend him to anyone looking to have their hair look fabulous and enjoy the process of getting there!
