Hello, I am Kelechi a highly dedicated and skilled freelance Beauty Professional of over 8 years offering services for weddings and special events. I value integrity, transparency, peace and excellence. I service locations within the Tri-state area however I’m available to travel further. I love creating looks that are both glam and soft leaving a radiant, skin-like finish for my clients. My goal is to not only create looks that leave my clients looking their best without looking drastically different but also creating experiences that leave them feeling their very best.

    Kelechi is so wonderful and professional. She did such a great job on my makeup for my wedding and might engagement photos as well. I have hyperpigmentation and she did such a great job evening out my skin tone on areas I was worried about. I recommend her to everyone now - from friends who are getting married to baby showers and proms. She’s so professional and sweet as well. Don’t hesitate to book!

    She is talented, knowledgeable, patient, and sweet. She played a big part in making me feel relaxed, special and like a princess. Lastly, she made my moms and bridesmaids feel the same too! She communicates SO well and promptly—making sure I, as a bride, feel attended to. She doesn’t add to the day's stress but takes away from it !!!     I highly recommend Kelechi, the owner of Klynnebeauty, for your bridal hair and makeup, and for any of your other day-of beauty needs!! I reached out to Kelechi through Zola earlier this summer, and she responded in less than a day to confirm that she was available for my wedding on 8/12/23. On our consultation call, I explained that I had just finished my second year of law school (which is part of the reason why I was so delayed in booking bridal beauty), and that I was different than some brides when it comes to my preferences on getting ready (I don’t love being the center of attention, so having a literal spotlight on my face as I sit in the middle of a room full of people watching me get ready is a stress-inducing situation for me). We also discussed logistics, pricing, and travel fees, and then Kelechi followed up the next morning with a draft contract and inspiration pictures. My wedding was in Philadelphia and Kelechi is based out of NJ, and there was a minimum spend for beauty services and a travel fee because of the distance she had to drive to get to Philadelphia, but I thought her pricing was very reasonable, and I booked her for bridal hair and makeup, and for hair styling for my bridesmaids/Mom. Even with the travel fee, the total contract price was comparable to what I would have paid for similar services from a Philadelphia-based stylist. On the wedding day, Kelechi brought one of her friends, Awuruma, as her styling assistant, which I really appreciated because Awuruma is a lawyer! When it was my turn to get ready, Kelechi moved all of her stuff into the bathroom attached to the bedroom in the getting-ready room, and she did my hair and makeup in there. She closed the door and reassured me that it was okay that I wanted to get ready in a room by myself with just the two of them (Kelechi and Awuruma) because it was my day and I should do what makes me feel most comfortable. During the time Kelechi was styling my hair and doing my makeup, we talked about all the chaos of planning a wedding in law school, why I went to law school, and then we talked about the wedding, like what my vision was and how I was still editing my vows while I was getting ready (whoops!). We also talked about how I met my fiancé (now husband), and I put on a Spotify playlist of songs I asked the band to play at the wedding. I absolutely love how my hair and makeup turned out, I love how all the bridesmaids and my moms hair turned out, and I love that Kelechi was ahead of the getting-ready schedule all day! I received so many compliments throughout the day, and after spending the second half of the reception dancing (and profusely sweating from dancing), I think my hair and makeup still looked amazing! Most important though (in my opinion), is that my experience with Kelechi helped ground me before the first-look and the wedding. Talking with Kelechi about how I met my now-husband and about the successes and struggles we’ve been through helped get me to a blissed-out state of mind, and I felt so present throughout the rest of the day after sharing those stories and reliving our journey to the aisle. I will be forever grateful to Kelechi and she was such an important part of my wedding day. I honestly felt like I was glowing because of the self-confidence, acceptance, and love that I felt throughout the day, and that is a glow that can’t be applied with makeup! Thank you again Kelechi!!
