I'm a passionate graphic designer, lover of art, culture and fashion, and a professional henna artist & makeup artist. Henna artistry has been a hobby of mine since I was a little girl. While at college, I turned my henna hobby into a career by taking a 4-day henna course with the world-renown henna artist Ash Kumar from London. Since then, I have been beautifying the hands and feet of many brides and their families. Because each bride is unique, I consult with each bride beforehand to ensure that every bride gets her own personalized henna to make her special day as perfect as can be.

I make my own organic henna paste, free from toxins and chemicals, which guarantees a deep burgundy color as long as after-care instructions are followed. My henna style is a fusion between modern and traditional techniques. As for makeup services, I take a foundational approach. Healthy, glowing skin is the base for a flawless makeup look. I never cake on makeup. I'm a minimalist, and I believe less is more. Makeup is used to enhance one's appearance, not mask it.

    I can’t recommend Dhara highly enough. She came to do the mehendi for me and my mother in the days before my wedding, and I was blown away with her. Her designs were beautiful and intricate, and I received endless compliments about their delicate and subtle elegance, but what really stood her apart was the patience and her attitude keeping us in great spirits. Having to sit still and not be able to use my hands could have been torture, but her calming presence was exactly what my mother and I needed. If you’re looking for the total package on your mehendi, you can’t make a better choice than the Dhara.
