Hi! My name is Jena, a hair and makeup artist based in San Diego, California and Napier, New Zealand. Managing my time between these two locations, I've recently established a skilled team to support my services while I’m away. Each stylist has been personally chosen to align with my style - specializing in timeless and romantic hairstyles with textured twists and braids or a classic updo. My makeup services offer both traditional and airbrush options with complimentary lashes and high-end professional products for a long-lasting, flawless finish. This ensures you maintain your best look throughout the entire day!

As a perfectionist, I ensure every level of detail is considered at every step of the styling process. My intention is to create an unforgettable experience for you and to ensure you feel and look your best on your special day. I take great pride in crafting a premium and luxurious hair and makeup kit, dedicated to each of my client’s hair and makeup goals. When booking a service with me, you’ll have unlimited phone and/or email communication from the day you book, leading up to your wedding day. I’ll work on carefully curating your timeline to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.

    Jena is an incredible makeup artist and hair stylist! She is friendly, professional, patient, flexible, detailed, and experienced. She specializes in soft glam airbrush makeup and updo and half-up hair styles. I hired Jena for my makeup and hair for my traditional tea ceremony and makeup for my wedding, and she exceeded my expectations! I typically wear basic minimal makeup and was worried about having “too much” makeup, but Jena took the time to thoroughly explain the process and products she was applying to my face, and never rushed throughout the process. As someone who identifies as Asian American with smaller eyes, Jena is very knowledgeable on how to enhance the appearance of each feature on my face, and the outcome is a flawless look!     Jena is so amazing! She arrived early to set-up on my wedding day and was ready to get started on time. I had five hair services done (4 bridesmaids and myself) and everyone’s hair turned out perfect. If you book with her, I highly recommend booking a trial prior to your wedding day to make sure the big day as seamless as possible. Jena is so patient and will do anything to make sure your hair is absolutely perfect on your wedding day. If you’re thinking of getting glam waves for your big day, Jena is your girl!
