Vinnetta Scrivo is a Emmy Award winning Makeup Artist and Local 798 Union Artist with 20 years of Television, Radio, Bridal, Editorial and Salon experience. Skilled in Makeup, Mens grooming, Skin care expert, Educator, Special FX, eyebrows, lashes, and knowledgeable on many aspects of beauty. Beauty Expert for TV, fashion/wellness and bridal publications, online tutorials and radio. Vinnetta became part of The Martha Stewart Show beauty team for 10 years, which included doing Martha’s makeup for photo shoots, press events and Martha Stewart’s Wedding Magazine.

I work directly with the client and their family to develop a vision. My energy is calm and professional. Friendly and focused. I will make you look and feel like the best version of you. So honored to be apart of your very special day!

    I could not imagine my wedding day without Vinnetta. She is so talented, thoughtful and professional. She guided me towards a very glamorous yet natural look for my wedding. She knew exactly what I was looking for, even when I had trouble describing it! She added very subtle, yet beautiful details to my makeup which looked amazing in person and in pictures. She was very thoughtful about the look I was hoping for and made sure that everything from my lips to eye brows were perfect right up until I walked down the aisle (and after)! She did my makeup for my rehearsal dinner as well, and gave me a totally different, yet beautiful look. She also did the make up for my whole family on my wedding day. She was patient, responsive and intuitive. Everyone in my family had different looks that matched their style, dresses and wants. Most importantly, she is an amazing person to work with. I look forward to having her do my makeup, eyebrows and hair for every special occasional I have.

    I've had makeup done by Vinnetta on several different occasions and she's always lovely and does an amazing job. She also helped me do my wedding makeup virtually due to COVID, which ended up being perfect. I felt and looked like myself without being too overdone and even though I'm not a makeup artist, with her guidance, I was able to have excellent makeup for my wedding that looked good close up and in photo/video. We did a practice round over video chat before the big day and then she helped the day of with guidance. She listened to what I wanted and made some suggestions I wouldn't have thought of, which made the experience less stressful. So grateful for her help. Obviously, her services in person are ideal and I cannot recommend her enough for that, but due to COVID, I limited the number of people helping me and she was super helpful virtually too.

    Vinnetta was a complete pleasure to work with. She did my make up PERFECTLY for my wedding. I seldom get my make up done without fussing over something small about the way I look but Vinnetta really understood my vision and gave me exactly what I wanted. My make up look was soft glam and looked so natural I was completely taken back by how much I loved my make up. Her demeanor was so calming and honestly the type of person you want to be around on your wedding day. She was amazing! If you’re in the NY / NJ area call her!
