Yin Tom Studio provides (1) waterproof airbrush makeup and (2) hairstyling services for a range of events, including but not limited to the following: (3) bridal makeup, (4) fashion makeup, (5) boudoir makeup, (6) natural makeup, etc... I am also skilled in (7) eyebrow shaping, and (8) false lash application.

In fourteen years of professional experience, Yin has worked with brides, fashion designers, photographers and models to design beautiful, elegant and fashionable styles. She understands that each situation requires a different look, and therefore starts each engagement by meeting with the client/designers to discuss their desired look. Then the fun begins! With a few clever strokes of makeup combined with some deft hair design, Yin accentuates and exemplifies the personal beauty of each client. The best part of her job is making dreams come true!

    Yin and Kettia were the best people for my bridal hair and makeup, and for my four bridesmaids, my mom, and our officiant! They were communicative, so helpful, and made us all feel beautiful and like ourselves. All of us got many compliments, and - so importantly - they were people you definitely want to spend the morning of your wedding with! No stress, no fuss, great energy and superb talent. Big thanks and highly recommend to Boston-area brides!

    Yin is the best partner to hire on your wedding day. She is a calming and knowledgeable force that will be sure to make you and your party look stunning. Yin is especially helpful if you don't quite know what you are looking for. I showed her my dress and she immediately knew what to do. I felt like I looked so natural and like myself. I got compliments on my makeup that lasted all night and held up with some tears. Yin is definitely the best hair and makeup artist in Boston. You have to hire her for your wedding day!

    Yin and Kettia did hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids - and I cannot rave enough about the fantastic job they did! Yin and her team are so talented; everyone in the wedding party was so happy with their hair and makeup. We each came in with general ideas/visions and Yin helped those visions come to life. Yin is incredibly caring and even gave me a touch up bag with lipstick and other items to use throughout the night. Since the day was supposed to be rainy, she provided extra maintenance to make sure my hair and makeup lasted through the night - and it did! Even with the rain. She also helped to pin in my veil securely and gave my bridesmaids very careful instructions on how to take it out after the ceremony. I feel so lucky to have found Yin and would highly highly recommend her.

    Yin Tom is AMAZING!! She is the epitome of perfect! She has so much talent and experience it can be felt, she is reliable, very responsive and easy to communicate with, organized, and her bubbly, fun persona just lights up the room! I had the honor of having Yin style my hair and makeup for my wedding, she also did hair and makeup for my mom and 2 bridesmaids- we all have very different hair and skin types/tones, and everyone's hair and makeup came out beautifully! She is efficient, creative, and skillful- she incorporated all of the concepts I wanted in my "look" and brought it to life, it was breathtaking! The ladies and I were so happy with her work, and even happier to have her with us! She was the life of the party!! We all laughed and giggled with her like little girls all morning while getting ready! After we were all done with our hair and makeup, we were all secretly hoping for another excuse to see Yin again. I can't stress it enough, she is amazing.
