​As a documentary photographer, I go with the flow and discreetly capture each magical moment as it unfolds, telling your story as honestly and authentically as possible. No trends. No awkward poses. Only joy, emotion & storytelling.

My approach is much more ‘hands-off’ than other, more traditional wedding photographers. I capture your wedding as it unfolds, from getting ready through to the dancing. Even the couple shoot is informal, fun and relaxed - it's more of a stroll together where I'll help you relax, laugh and enjoy the short time away from the rest of the wedding. I'll be everywhere, capturing not just you and your partner, but everyone in attendance. The interactions between your guests, the tiny gestures as well as the big moments. I capture real moments, true emotions, and an authenticity that can’t be staged.

    Amiran is a fabulous photographer. We knew we needed someone who knew traditional wedding poses for all the family photos, but we really wanted more candid shots in both the wedding and the reception. She did not disappoint. She’s got the static shots with family, and the wedding party we needed - but the candid ones are the ones we fell in love with in our portfolio. She is professional and kept communicating with us throughout all the changes leading up to our wedding with the venue issues we had, and went with the flow that day. She made sure she had everything we were looking for, and made our day so simple. She even went along with my maid of honor who decided to play photo stylist at the end of the day! I cannot say enough about how perfect Amiran was for our wedding!

    Working with Amiran was an exceptional experience. From the start her communication and professionalism put our minds at ease. My wife and I were looking for a wedding photographer and it was starting to feel like Goldilocks looking for the perfect photographer, until we found Amiran. It was amazing to review the photos she took and laugh together about how we never noticed her during the ceremony and never heard shutter clicks, yet she somehow captured our special day perfectly.     We had a small low-key wedding, but still wanted some of the traditional photos you see from weddings. Amiran was great at prompting the cake and toast pics, and of course getting all the wonderful candids too. My son and daughter-in-law were and are very happy with the photos from their wedding.

    Amiran was so wonderful to work with! She was very responsive in communications prior to the wedding. Day of was great - she captured everything, yet it was like she wasn't even there. I loved all of the shots she took, both candid and posed. It was such a joy having her as our photographer - would highly recommend.
