Hi there. I originally hail from Georgia, but am so happy to now call Charlottesville my home. When I'm not chasing down perfect sunlight, you can usually find me tucked away somewhere with a book, writing, enjoying life with my partner Charles, styling my 1920s home, or snuggling with my Frenchie pup, Finny.

My work is a combination of posing that takes advantage of the best light and locations and capturing moments as they unfold in the moment. I take charge when it feels right and direction is called for, but step back and let you enjoy your wedding when the time is right, so you can be truly present and enjoy the beauty of your day to the fullest.

Audra Jones was, to put it simply, the perfect person to photograph our wedding. We knew what we wanted - a small, intimate gathering of our closest friends and family, full of life and personality, but none of the hassle weddings are usually known for. But finding a photographer who could capture that feeling seemed like a challenge - until we met Audra. She didn't just capture the most important moments of our big day, she felt like part of them. She was incredibly professional and courteous throughout the entire event, nimbly bouncing around the ceremony to capture the perfect pictures without obstructing anyone's view. And when it came time for the real party to begin, she effortlessly blended into the crowd as they danced the night away during the reception. Her secret? She danced right alongside our guests! We received so many compliments from friends and family alike, praising Audra's ability to make them feel comfortable as she snapped their photos. Audra was a joy to work with in every aspect of planning our wedding. She had a vision but was always willing to collaborate, she was well organized but never strict, and she was so quick to get finished photos back to us, without sacrificing quality. Incredibly talented, always listens to the couple's needs, flexible, generous, smart, artistic, kind, and fun! Audra was the absolute best. She made us feel so comfortable, even though we are camera shy. The wedding flew by in a flash, but I'm so grateful for the incredible photos which will last forever so I can enjoy the day over and over again!
