Cameron French Photography

My name is Cameron and I’m a documentary wedding photographer based in Louisville, Kentucky. My journey with photography has been somewhat of a surprise. It has become a way for me to be with moments in ways I thought I couldn’t. And now I get to be invited into such intimate spaces with that camera, documenting timeless moments at weddings — moments that you don’t want to forget and that you’ll look back on years from now. Every wedding I document blows me away and I always feel grateful and privileged to do this work, to be trusted with the gift of freezing time through a photograph.

My whole intention when walking into a wedding day is to be more hands off and to allow you to experience the day with honesty. I just want you to be you. My couples don’t want a long list of specific shots or have their wedding turned into a photoshoot. They want a collection of photos from their wedding that authentically reveal how it all felt and how they experienced it. That can best be achieved when you are given the space to be yourself and when my role becomes that of an observer.
