About Cauanne Photography
Cauanne Photography
I am vegan, and I care deeply for social and environmental justice. I love memories, analog media, and romance. I'm Brazilian and now I'm in Philadelphia. I started photography in 2017 when I worked primarily with female portraits. I am transitioning to a new chapter in my life where I moved halfway across the world for love. With that feeling, my desire to do this for others grows.
I have the desire of grabbing a moment with my own hands and transform it into eternity. That's the reason why I'm a photographer. I believe in the enchantment of feelings, which gives meaning to life. Where would we all be if it wasn't for love? I sure don't know if I would be here telling stories. I draw my inspiration from old songs, movies, and love stories. I like to describe my work as intentional photography for nostalgic souls.

Cauanne and her husband Liam were the best photography team I could ask for! I really wanted someone that could do both digital and film (and make them feel cohesive) and prioritized a more casual, documentary approach and these two hit the mark perfectly! My family, husband, and I all are so thrilled with how the photos turned out. Cauanne was extremely communicative and thoughtful throughout the planning process and just a pleasure to work with. We are so grateful to have Anne shoot our engagement photos and the engagement party to follow. First, her presence truly made such a positive impact on our day. It was a rainy day & an outdoor party so a lot of nerves going in that morning. Anne’s presence is so calming and her style of shooting our engagement photos brought us back to remembering what this was all about, our love. We laughed, we cried, and we were ready to celebrate with 100 of our loved ones after the shoot. Anne handled the weather and our demanding families with the utmost patience, kindness, and professionalism. Everyone was so impressed. Then we received the photos back, and I blown away. They were everything I wanted and more. Her style of photography is so elegant yet real, timeless yet unique.
