Worst experience

Be aware… I would like to just put this out there… Didn’t want to have to post but want to warn others. I have been married for a little over 6 months and I finally received my wedding photos… This is one of the worst experiences I have ever have. We used Courtney Barnett photography and have used her a couple of other times. This was such a nightmare. The wedding package we got was for 6 hours costing us 1500. Originally we were suppose to get our pictures the end of March. We went to California when the photos and usb were suppose to be delivered to the house I have my mail set up where I can see everything that is being delivered as well as packages and I still never saw anything being delivered. The end of the month has passed and I messaged her asking for a tracking number since she said it has been sent. When I asked for it she refused to send us a tracking number and said when she searched it it said unavailable. (Still thinking she never sent it)she then said she would express the usb and photos so we could get them soon. Brandon and I then went to morehead to pick up the photos agree on a day in early April and we sat there waiting for her to just respond. Finally when we decided to go all the way back home she finally decided to message back after missing our calls and text messages. She then said she was busy and will get back to me later… After finally feeling defeated and emotional that I may never get the rest of my wedding photos from our special day I was frustrated and upset I wouldn’t be able to re capture these special moments and this lady was the reason for it. Finally end of April I messaged again and she was saying that her computer broke at this point I’m beyond over it and just want my photos. And some more time goes on… Now brandon was off today and was planning on picking up out photos today. She messaged me telling she was going on vacation in two days and that she needed to edit the photos she took over the weekend and so she wasn’t able to meet us in town. Her house is almost 2 outs away from where we live after all the trouble she put us threw she thought it was more important to edit the recent photos then get me my wedding photos from 6 months ago. She was upset when I refused to drive to her house. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever delt with. When you spend so much money you expect that person to do good and try to keep her clients. Need to say we will be finding a new photographer. And don’t recommend her whatsoever! No bride and groom should have to go through this. Just glad I finally got my photos. Not to mention she is beyond unprofessional. When we had our wedding she had her kids and husband sitting in the car the whole time. At one point Brandon went out to the car and invited her husband and kids to come in and eat since they had just been sitting there for hours. Just think if you are gonna be a photographer and want to keep clientele you wouldn’t act this way… Hope this is enough to warn someone before you waste your money on her.
