My biggest goal is be a fly on the wall and let you genuinely enjoy every moment of your day without feeling like the main purpose is posing for the camera. Wedding photography is personal and we have to feel connected for it to be done right. I don't believe that any two weddings should look the same and I strive to honor my couples and their individuality while also leaving room for artistic expression. I am die hard in my commitment to you and hold these relationships in the utmost light. When we first met Dakota over a zoom call, it was like seeing an old friend. We absolutely adored her and knew immediately we found a hidden gem and needed to lock her down for our wedding day and we are so so happy we did. It was so easy to connect with her and share our ideas/vision, and she made it all come to life. At both the engagement session and our wedding, she captured all that we are as a couple and more. I’m not personally one to enjoy the spotlight but Dakota made it so comfortable and fun. Not only is she one of the sweetest, kindest people I’ve ever met, but she also holds herself to an exceptionally high standard. She’s very responsive, and timely, and pours her heart and soul into every photo. Her dedication to her couples and her craft is admirable! As we sit here and gush over our photos for the millionth time, we thank our lucky stars that Dakota was there to capture the first of many beautiful moments for us.

If you’re thinking of booking, do!! I looked around for many photographers to do our wedding photos and Dakota was by far the best to communicate with! We discussed all of our visions and ideas for our day and Dakota made them happen. I have never had more beautiful photos taken of me (which is saying a lot as I hate having my picture taken), and she made us feel so comfortable!! My husband never has a “real” smile and she was able to make us laugh like no other and got some great pictures of him too! I highly recommend her!! I can’t wait to book her for future family pictures!

Typically, couples book me about 8-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Depending on if your package offers a second photographer, this is usually worked into the price.

All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful with my creative touch. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. If you would like to have a videographer to document your beautiful day, I am more than happy to send over referrals!

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online via a digital gallery about 8-12 weeks after your wedding.

You can expect about 70-80 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

In my 3 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

Yes, I do offer payment plans! For all bookings, I require a 30% non-refundable retainer and the remaining balance one month prior to your wedding day. If you prefer a different payment plan, please let me know and I'm happy to work with you!
