Photographer

Photography is my passion. As a third generation photographer, it's in my blood! My grandfather opened a photography studio in Chicopee during the 1940's. Growing up, I spent hours looking at family photos, studying the faces of friends and loved ones. I read the hand written notes on the back of the pictures and I was taken back to the exact moment the photograph was taken. Even if the picture was snapped long before my birth, I could feel the emotion from that time. Photographs were and continue to be an absolute treasure in my household.

It is most important to me that couples feel heard, valued, and supported through the entire wedding process. I have a professional, cheerful, upbeat attitude. I provide classic, timeless photography with clean, bright, true to life edits.

    Danielle was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so kind and welcoming during our first meeting with her and that continued through all communications and into our wedding day. From the moment she arrived, day of, there was just an ease about working with her and she made everyone so comfortable. We received our photos back very quickly and could not be happier. They all came out amazing and are so natural with minimal editing to show who we really are. I would 10/10 recommend Danielle to anyone I know.

    Danielle is the one! I am so glad we worked with her for our wedding. For starters, she was so patient, flexible, positive and encouraging throughout the planning process. I had no idea how much personality makes a great photographer. I knew she would be great at what she does (check out her work!) but Danielle also made us feel like naturals and so comfortable during our engagement shoot. She took care to make sure she was capturing my vision and that we were happy with the process. At our wedding, she made everything so easy and captured all the important moments and more. The second shooter she brought was excellent. We also got our photos back very quickly. I chose to work with Danielle because of her authentic and polished style. I love her eye for capturing emotions and moments between people. Her being a really pleasant person to work with was a great bonus! I’m just amazed by how easy she made it all look, and I really appreciated her calm, present, and encouraging demeanor throughout the wedding day. I’d recommend Danielle to anyone looking for someone reliable, professional, and fun to capture their special moments! I’m so glad she was able to work with us to capture our wedding and engagement shoot.

    Danielle Shaughnessey Photography capture my wedding celebration a year ago and I highly recommend her for yours and any other milestones you are celebrating. Danielle is competent, professional and an incredibly talented photographer. The photos from my wedding came out beautifully, and I could not have been happier with the results. I had a nontraditional wedding in an arts center that had never been used as a wedding venue previously. Despite this Danielle had the imagination and skills to maximize the space and compose gorgeous photos on the spot. Danielle not only has an eye for composition and great shots, she really cares and wants the final product to represent you and loved ones. Danielle is also a lovely person to work with; she’s flexible, responsive and has great ideas to offer.
