Hi friends!! I'm Daycia! 😊 Currently living in Houston, TX, I started photography 10 years ago when I began my travels around the world. It was important for me to remember friends, events, and moments. It led me to a deeper appreciation of life and the magic behind it! I’m the type of photographer that wants to share that magic of life by creating new memories for you to hold onto forever. My style is a bit photojournalistic and authentic. I love to capture the candid moments and emotions because it tells the story of your special day in a way that is true to you!

    From our initial call with Daycia, we loved her upbeat & positive personality! We had an engagement session that was included in our package and were so happy with the shots and edits! Neither my husband or I particularly love being in front of the camera and she was so incredible at disarming us to feel comfortable and getting some really beautiful, natural pictures that captured our true essence. The day of the wedding was incredibly hectic and a little chaotic due to being behind schedule and some trouble with other vendors. I cannot stress how much Daycia’s energy brought a sense of calm to the entire day. She went far above the call of duty and stepped up to help when she didn’t need to. She was so incredible at taking our input while also giving great direction to us and our family. She worked through a few toddler meltdowns, family members running late and our difficult request of getting a photo of ALL OUR 110 guests with the most positive attitude. As a stressed out bride, it meant everything to me. We loved her so much we wanted her to stay simply to enjoy parting with us! We were also on the fence about doing the videography package (due to budget constraints) and decided to go for it at the last minute, and we are so happy we did! The video came out beautifully and it’s one of favorite takeaways from the day. Even with the difficult task of dealing with some serious wind the day of the wedding, she got my vows to come through as a voiceover very well. She even offered me the option to send her a clear audio to add in as the voiceover. The communication was A from start to finish and including her in our day was the best decision we made!
