Hey there! We are David & Kirstin Hebert, a husband and wife team who are living our dream. Being behind the camera gives us a feeling that no other career can. We have been sharing life for 20 years and now share the fun with two amazing kidos, Evan and Adriana. What more could we ask for? Life is good! We love life. We love family. We love friendships. We love adventure. We love people. We love animals. We love travel. We love cameras. We love food. We love nature. We love smiles. We love LOVE! And we love capturing all of it! We are super laid-back and will make sure that your experience in these special days is our number one priority!

    After my fiancé decided to have a destination wedding in New Orleans I quickly got to work searching for a photographer that I thought would be the perfect fit for our vibe. I found Kirstin and David here on Zola and while looking through their portfolio… it just spoke to my soul. I know that may sound exaggerated but that is truly how it felt. Kirstin and I then set up a call to discuss our wants and needs and I even told her the same… their photos really spoke to me and I was hoping and praying they were free on my wedding day! SPOILER: they were and I have wedding photos I literally could only DREAM of. My fiancé and I discussed after our wedding how we truly felt like we were hanging out with 2 friends of ours all day. It was just so easy and comfortable. I cannot say thank you enough!

    We absolutely loved working with DK Hebert! We first met them when taking our engagement photos. They met us for a couple of drinks first to get to know us and learn what our expectations were and then we started the shoot. Kirstin was great at directing at us and making us feel at ease in front of the camera and David had a lot of creative ideas so that our shoot didn’t come out looking too cookie cutter or posed. We were looking for photographers in Louisiana who knew how to take photos of brown skin and edit it as well without making us look too orange or making our skin appear lighter. We were amazed with the photos that came back. It looked like a work of art. We shot for almost four hours with an outfit change and David and Kirstin basically took photos the entire time as we walked around downtown Baton Rouge and the state Capitol grounds— so we had a ton to choose from. Seeing our engagement photos really helped us trust them and be excited for our wedding photos. They turned out better than we could imagine. We no longer live in Louisiana but want to use their services again in the future and will travel to do so! I recommend them to any newly engaged couple or family who wants to update their photo albums. We also got a few sneak peeks back within a couple of days after our wedding and the entire album was sent to us about a month or so after. Kirstin would also send me her favorites as they were editing. The constant communication was wonderful. 10/10 recommend!

I never have to worry about them not capturing a moment or special details . Their attention to details is one of my favorite qualities about this team , not to mention we just adore them! i would highly recommend them for ANY project!

    Hiring David and Kirsten to photograph our wedding was the best decision we could have made. Our pictures were more than perfect. They captured everything personal about our day and made sure our pictures are unique and unlike anyone else’s I’ve seen. We’ve been so happy with DK Hebert Photography that they’ve photographed our growing family several times since our wedding. We just can’t settle for anyone else! They’re the best! :)
