Hi! I'm Stephanie. I am a NY based Photographer that also travels. I love weddings that tell a story. My photography is intentional and all about connection. It is all about memories, it's about this very special time in your life. I really focus on my clients and their goals while also making sure your timelines are organized and flow with your day so you can enjoy yourselves. I'd love to chat about your photography goals!

My photography focuses on how your day feels, not just the way it looks. I really make a point of taking photos of your day, and not curating a day of photos. My details focus on emotion, not just the decorations (even though those are important too). My galleries are vibrant, moody, yet full of traditional keepsakes. Photography is important, my galleries take you back in time to a day I know you will never want to forget.

    Ok this review is SO overdue but it took us a bit to decompress after the wedding and we got caught up with married-life things in the interim. I wanted to make sure I took the time to properly sit down and write a thoughtful review for Stephanie. We got married last September on the 23rd in Kismet, Fire Island. I'm sure all my fellow fall brides of 2023 understand the feud we had going with Mother Nature, and let's just say despite all efforts and a potential disastrous beach wedding, Stephanie promised she would do anything in her power to not let our special day and weekend fall apart. When we met Stephanie, she had never been to Kismet before but was so excited at the thought of a destination-feel beach wedding close to home. Since we had already had done engagement pictures with another photographer prior to planning our wedding, she wanted to still do a shoot to get to know us and since her package included this engagement shoot she said she would also come to my welcome party the night before our wedding to shoot which was a great option. So flash forward to the Thursday before our wedding, a tropical storm was planning to make landfall on Saturday, our wedding day. We were frantically trying to arrange for our vendors to get to the island and our guests to stay on the island since the nighttime ferries would be cancelled while also coordinating a handful of other disasters the potential dangerous weather posed on our outside dock/beach ceremony and reception vision. We knew anything outdoors had become out of the question, and we decided to do a casual impromptu surprise ceremony for our friends and family on the ferry dock on the bay on what would have been the Friday night of the welcome party. We had lost control of so many aspects of our dream wedding weekend, we figured this was one way to take back some control and focus on the importance of sharing our marriage and commitment in front of our loved ones. When we told Stephanie this news the day before, she was SO DOWN and genuinely SO EXCITED. She captured the greatest shots for us that night, the genuine happiness on all our faces and even a sunset showed up. She kept the energy up and in tandem with my family/family friends efforts she promised to be there the morning for our formal ceremony/reception day and do everything in her power to make the day go seamlessly; and that she did. She arrived in full hurricane proof rain gear, with a smile on, keeping the energy going while reassuring me that everything would work out okay. She knew my anxiety over the chaos the weather had brought to my dream wedding on top of my already camera shy/'I don't like being center of attention' personality and never pushed me or my husband to do too much. She felt my energy without me having to speak. I am so grateful for all the effort she had put into our wedding, and I couldn't thank her enough. I would refer her a million times over again - when you hire Stephanie you are not only getting a photographer but a friend who is willing to go the mile for you and your happiness without questions asked.

With so much detail and creativity, not only was our engagement shoot and rehearsal dinner photos so enticing; but the wedding day photos exceeded our expectations.     Stephanie is creative, kind and came well prepared. She met with us several times ahead of the wedding, asked about family and even helped to move the day along. She caught my wife and I in some amazing intimate moments and we could not be more pleased. As a same-sex couple, it is hard to find someone who is affirming and who gets it!
