While we can always get down with a classic editorial portrait, we steer clear of photos that feel posed or stagnant. Obviously, we make images that are aesthetically beautiful, and it's our priority to capture you in your best angles & lighting. But more importantly, we are seeking split-second, cinematic, and emotive moments that pull you in and make you think "this looks like a still from a movie!" Every single wedding contains moments like this, and it's our job to be alert enough to catch them. We are very, very in sync and unobtrusive. We find corners to nestle in to watch & eventually work our way into the heart of the action.

Josie and Alex did both our engagement shoot and our wedding! When I tell you that you will get the best wedding photos you’ve ever seen I’m not kidding. They have a true gift to be able to sense subtle yet profoundly special moments that you won’t even realized have been captured until you see the pictures. I received my wedding photos today and after spending 4 hours going through them I came straight to write this review. They are the nicest, sweetest people, their vision and eye to detail is unmatched. Book them!

I found Josie and Alex on Instagram while searching for a documentary style photographer for my Casa Feliz wedding. I was immediately impressed by their beautiful work, social media presence, and price transparency. Josie and Alex were communicative and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process in creating a photography timeline and anything else we needed help with. Along came the wedding day and it was raining all day long. My biggest fear was that I wouldn't have the photos I always dreamed of. But they turned out even more stunning than I ever expected! They were professional, sweet, and fun to work with on our big day. I cannot recommend Fox and Film enough!

I don’t think Alex and Josie know this, but picking the right photographer was one of the most important decisions I had to make when considering all vendors, and I spent countless days, maybe even weeks, finding the right photographer. The way they captured our wedding day didn’t just relay simple stills, but the raw emotions of the day - which is really what I prioritized. During our first meeting with Alex and Josie, I knew they were our photographers because they were the only ones who were organized. They followed up with a mock up timeline of how they think the day may go, and that was the first time I’d seen a timeline of our special day. Sometimes it’s just the little things, that go a long way. They were always so responsive and sweet. My friends and family were also impressed on our wedding day. Couldn’t recommend them more! Thank you guys so much!

Jose and Alex were/are phenomenal! They helped make our special day the best day ever! They were fun and super helpful throughout the entire process and really helped to take a lot of the stress off of us during our big day. They did both our engagement shoot and the wedding and we couldn't be more happy with how the entire process went!
