Hi I'm Halley I’m a couples, wedding, and elopement photographer based in San Diego, Big Sur, and Seattle, but I’m ready to follow you anywhere! I was born and raised in the PNW, I’m 28 years old, I have a husband and 2 puppies who I love with my whole heart. I’m an extroverted introvert who loves all-night brewery hangs just as much as home game nights, and my love languages are words of affirmation and sushi.

I am here to capture your love story exactly as it is. Nothing fake, nothing posed and definitely nothing that’s untrue to who you are. I want to laugh with you, run around with you in beautiful places, and witness your unique love story. Then, I want to tell that story in a way that translates your love into photos for you can feel and hold onto forever.

    Halley Vernon has been one of favorite photographers to work with. From the beginning Halley was super informative and considerate to make sure I was well prepared for the wedding we were both going to be working. Super professional yet very intentional. When it came to the wedding day, Halley was on top of it. Making sure we stayed on schedule and capturing every detail they requested. Not only that but Halley really pushed my creativity to capture photos in different angles that I wouldn't have ever thought about. I highly recommend Halley for your big day!

    Halley knows big sur like the back of her hand, if you are unsure of specific areas to shoot at, but have an idea of what you are imagining, she’s your gal! Our elopement took place on a very cold and windy day, but somehow our pictures turned out looking like we were having the time of our lives in the most comfortable of settings. She also works with you on any specific requests you may have, she doesn’t stick to just one style. I wanted lots of movement and filmy type of pictures and she did an amazing job:) Seriously couldn’t be happier with the results

    Halley was our wedding and engagement photographer and the entire experience was amazing, more than we could have asked for. She really captured our personalities and relationship in our engagement photos and leading up to our session she location scouted for us and gave her professional opinion on best time to meet based on sunset and weather. On our wedding day she captured all the in between moments and candid personalities of all our guests, as well as documented all out precious moments. She helped with keeping on schedule during the day, helped me manage any stress I was feeling, and was there to adjust my dress and veil all day long. She was the best investment we made for our wedding day by far and the memories she captured are truly priceless.
