Heirlooms and Lace is a destination wedding photographer creating timeless heirlooms from the love stories of elegant, fun-loving couples. Ashley is the take charge, get shit done photographer who will love on you and your people like family. With nearly two decades of experience, Ashley understands the need for a schedule & yet adaptable to change as the day unfolds. Will ensure we get done what is needed, but will give the flexibility for you to still take in the day with some alone time & time to celebrate with your people.

Ashley Auger, the photographer behind Heirlooms and Lace Studios, has nearly a decade of wedding photography experience, preceded by a decade in wedding planning. She incorporates the expertise she gained through years in the event industry to create a wedding photography experience that feels as effortless as it does elegant. And she brings a dose of fun to every celebration!

    Ashley was an absolute DREAM to work with and after spending the day with her as our photographer, I truly cannot imagine anyone else being there with us. From start to finish, she was so easy to work with and helped to put me at ease, which is not easy for a bride working full-time and planning a wedding. She thought of the minor details that no one else would and made sure we captured every moment. On the day of, she was absolutely amazing and her ability to multi-task, keep us on time, and capture every shot was incredible. In addition to that, you can tell that she truly loves what she does and cares about her couples. I have never felt so comfortable with someone so quickly, and having her there was like having one of my closest friends. Her passion for her job is inspiring and I cannot wait to continue to have her capture important moments for our new family!

    I've worked with Ashley a couple times now and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. She is one of very few industry professionals that operates with and believes in the same core values I do. She's present in your moment without being in the way. She knows immediately how to capture what you're looking for. Her sense of creativity is awe-inspiring and she'll make you never want to put that album down. Ashley is one of the most driven, motivated, hard-working, selfless, and committed photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My job as a mobile DJ is so much easier when I get to have her on my team for a day. We work well together because she's easy to get along with and because she knows what she's doing. I love working with Ashley because she just "gets it." It's not something I can really put in to words, but you'll definitely feel it when she's there capturing every moment of your big day.

    Choosing Ashley as our wedding photographer was one of the best choices we made throughout the planning process. She is not only down to Earth and real, but she genuinely cares about her clients and wants to deliver the best possible service to them. Slightly after booking her, she hosted a Brides Night In at her house to go over the dos and don’t of day of wedding photography. Her tips were very helpful, and her advice made our day as successful as it was. In addition to capturing your special day of moments, she does so much more. She drafts several day of timelines and sticks to them to a T. It is incredibly important that you’re organized because if so, your day will go perfectly. She did a great job guiding our day, collaborating with our videographer and DJ, and helping us stay calm, collected, and happy throughout the evening. Ashley also knows how to talk to people in a direct but respectful way. She wants your happiness first and foremost and will do whatever is necessary to make sure that you get it. On our day, she guided several people in a respectful manner which made for better pictures while putting them kindly in their place. My husband and I both deeply appreciate this about her. She’s Type A in the best way and wants you to feel satisfied at the end of the day. SO many of our family and friends commented on how fantastic she was as well as professional. She knows what’s she’s doing and cares about her work. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her and the work that she does. She’s one of the few photographers that we met with who genuinely cares about not only her work but her clients. You won’t be disappointed by choosing her to capture the special moments of your day.
