Since I was a kid, I told everyone I was going to be an artist. Growing up, I enjoyed making short movies with family photos on windows movie maker. Every event, vacation or birthday occasion I would put together a family video of sorts and make everyone watch them. I also enjoyed painting and won a few awards here and there throughout my school years. I have always been the creative type and I am so grateful to be able to work in this field. I am always looking to find new ways to learn and expand my knowledge in this industry.

My personal style is centered around authentic moments one would not usually think to capture. On your wedding day, I want you to enjoy everything and take it all in. This means less posing from my end. I love to find normally forgotten details and give them their moment. I love raw and organic smiles, hugs, tears and laughs. It's like a scavenger hunt on your wedding day for the best unencumbered moments.

    A absolute pleasure to work with Iara! Phenomenal in every way.     I just got my photos back and I’m blown away. Iara was able to work in extremely bright sun and dim lighting in 100 degree weather and all of the photos came out beautifully. Thanks to her style and eye for detail our pictures have a dreamy quality & she really captured the personalities of the people she was photographing. She was also extremely easy to work with and sent sneak peeks quickly. Very highly recommend.

    Hiring Iara was the first thing I did after saying yes to my proposal. Not only she made my pinterest board come to life and delivered stunning, beautifully shot, well edited photos but she also went above and beyond both before and during the big day helping me feel confident and at ease. She was very professional and friendly, we get so many compliments from everyone that sees the pictures and she even surprised us with the cutest short video! You won’t find a better deal! Its a no brainer.
