Who We Are

Illusions Weddings is a photography team. Michelle graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Of Fine Art In Photography in 1999. While living in CA she worked for a Hollywood Photo studio for 4 yrs. Upon moving to Colorado she worked at a wedding and portrait studio. Angela is a self taught photographer. In her youth she dabbled in modeling. This taught her posing, angles and finding the light. She is a classically trained visual artist in many mediums. Through that she learned to understand human form. 15 years ago she opened a face and body painting business and added photography shortly after.

Our photography is a combination of Fine portraiture and Allure with a natural documentary style. Together we give you the perfect posed photographs as well as capturing your memories as the moments unfold. Through the unique eyes of two separate artists we create a complete story of your special day.

    Angela and Michelle were the best vendors I worked with! I usually hate myself in photos and thought I would be lucky to get 1 or 2 photos I could frame in our house. But Angela and Michelle gave me hundreds of photos that I absolutely loved!! I seriously can not thank them enough!!

    Have worked with Angela many times now because once you find someone who consistently delivers, regardless of the changes in you or what you’re looking for over time, you don’t look elsewhere! She’s intuitive, creative and captures the very essence you hope for when you just trust the process. Cannot recommend her enough!!! 100 stars!
