We are Ish & Maya - a photo & event planning duo offering full service wedding packages. We work with other amazing vendors to simplify your wedding experience and create custom packages to suit your needs at a great value. Our team includes photo, video, full service wedding planning, live art, rentals, caterers, and decor. Ish began shooting wedding photos in 2018, married Maya in 2021, and now together we create beautiful custom weddings. As a COVID-19 wedding couple ourselves, we are seasoned in finding solutions and remaining flexible to give you a day that reflects the essence of your marriage for years to come.

We don't have typical wedding packages like every other vendor - we create a custom package for you and your wedding, bringing you more than any other photographer could. We are passionate about events that capture the spirit of you and your love - not just another party.

Artists Package

Description

Our most complete package provides you with everything you could want for your wedding day. Artists package comes with a second shooter and a designated coordinator to help you in the month leading up to your wedding to give you the most relaxed wedding day you can imagine. Our team of 3 is able to provide complete coverage of any problem or situation that may arise, and can do so at a fraction of the cost of hiring each of these roles separately.

    Ish was such an amazing photographer; professional, warm & friendly, and most of all, flexible and adaptable to any and all changes or hiccups. We didn't have any the day of, but he was always willing to work with whatever we gave him, which is so rare in photographers nowadays. So often they have an almost overly-assertive attitude, but Ish knew just how to balance getting the best shots with giving us freedom to ask for pictures we personally wanted. His prices were very reasonable for the market, and his wife Maya was such a sweet support during the whole day. Ish's photos were professional, consistent, and absolutely beautiful, and he has a great sense for the mood of the wedding. I have seen him do darker, moody pictures to our own lighter, brighter ones. I would recommend Ish & Maya Photo and Events to anyone and everyone who asks!!

    If you’re looking for a miracle working duo on your big day, look no further. Ish & Maya are truly the dream team. Ish helped my wife and I feel confident and comfortable in front of a camera & Maya worked her butt off to deliver the wedding of our dreams. We went into wedding planning thinking we’d have to do it all - we love to throw a party & are a bit hands on when it comes to planning. Maya was on another level - easing our stress on a rather DIY wedding weekend and ensuring us her and Ish would take care of it all. And take care they did! We had zero stress the entire wedding, never having to worry if Ish got a good shot, or if the food was gonna be cold, or if the tables would look like we envisioned. Ish and Maya were the first people preparing our reception area and they were HUSTLING to make sure our wedding embodied us. We 1000% recommend booking them for your wedding. They really take the time and energy to get to you as a couple and ensure your day exudes YOU!

    I am SO GLAD my husband and I decided to go with Maya as our wedding coordinator! She was great with reaching out to our vendors to collect any information and to double check that everything we needed was taken care of! Our caterer completely ruined our wedding and did not care about our timeline but Maya made sure to keep everyone on time and up to speed, she kept the show running and above all else, she guarded us from EVERYTHING that was spiraling during our wedding. She is always on time and always kind! You won't find anyone better!!

    My husband and I are both a bit awkward, and both hate having our photo taken. We were not super stoked about the idea of engagement or wedding photos, but figured we’d grit our teeth through it for the memories, ya know? WELL. Ish and Maya made the whole photo-taking experience the most chill, enjoyable, and fun experience! We were so glad to do an engagement shoot before the wedding, as it helped us relax a little bit and realize how comfortable it would be on our big day! They are SUPER fun, professional, encouraging, and gifted. Our engagement and wedding photos came out even more beautiful than we could have imagined, with a quick turn around time. Maya is a beast at wedding coordinating. The whole rehearsal and wedding day I felt as though I could just sit back because Maya had it covered. She’s professional, direct, and put’s the groom and bride’s needs first. We love Ismael and Maya, and could not have had a better experience with them!
