Hello, I'm so excited you're here. I can't wait to chat with you about your elopement or wedding, but 1st, I want you to know a little bit more about who I am & why I LOVE what I do! I'm Janessa, a mom, a student, and a constantly inspired photographer. I am a healthcare professional part time, and an engagement & elopement photographer all the time! My style is pretty moody & candid, and so incredibly emotional. My goal is to bring out the best in you and your partner during our time together, whether it's an engagement session, an intimate wedding, or eloping just the two of you. Being said, I look forward to working with you!

My journey with photography started when I made a big move half across the country from Atlanta, Georgia. Reliving our many captured moments motivated me to bring that same genuine joy that I felt to others through my photography. I am a safe space for all, and I encourage those who are different to reach out to me. As you explore my portfolio, you will notice that I have crossed paths with beautiful couples from all path of life, and all around the globe. My style is relatable to a warm editorial piece with artistic & intimate freedom. I have been published in multiple magazines, and I am featured on several websites and IG pages!

    Working with Janessa was a dream, and we could not have chosen a better photographer. Not only was she happy to meet with us when we needed, but she also was constantly inspiring, and sent plenty of recommendations along the way. The day of our wedding she made sure to connect with all of our friends, family members, and guests throughout the day, leaving an impressionable mark on everyone she talked to. My partner and I were blown away by the photos we got back in our gallery, and we can’t wait for her to take our maternity photos next! We love Janessa!

    I hate to write this review because I think Janessa truly has a gift for photography, but her business cannot continue with unfulfilled promises. Our wedding has come and gone and our contract stated that we would have our photos within 12 weeks at the latest. A month past the deadline and she has not given us all of our photos and has lacked basic communication through the process. Those missing included major moments of the wedding like the ceremony, dancing, even family photos. I should have seen a red flag when she did the same thing after our engagement pictures, but I didn’t need as many so I let it go. I am super sad that she has chosen a niche in photography where it really matters to document the most important day of peoples lives and she isn’t reliable. I hope she can fix this, but the added stress is not worth it. Avoid booking if you want to have all your memories.

    We were having trouble finding a photographer who was available and in our budget. I came across janessa and really liked her portfolio. After talking to her we decided to book her and I’m so glad we did. She was laid back and fun. She had awesome ideas. She gave us a lot of sneak peeks less than a week later and they turned out beautiful. My husband and I couldnt stop talking about how happy we were that we went with her.
