We are a husband and wife team based in Portland, Or and travel worldwide (we love travel) to capture our couples stories, and capturing the best imagery we can!. We specialize in creative moment driven wedding & lifestyle photography. We are committed to telling our couples stories and supporting them in ways that allow them to be free of stress and to be in the moment.

We love LIGHT & LOVE! We don't shy away from dramatic sun or emotion, and are masters in creating our own light to create imagery that POPS. We work hard to get those award winning photos. We are also love training/educating and sharing our knowledge with other photographers.

    Jos and Tree came highly recommended to us and, having worked with them, we now know why! A lot of people take wedding photos. Among them are a handful of folks who are also reliable, professional, and pleasant to work with. And within that smaller group, is an even smaller group of photographers who have real artistic vision matched with technical skill. Jos & Tree are, without a doubt, near the top of that select group. The images they produced of our wedding run the gamut from traditional wedding photos to absolute masterpieces of lighting, composition, and technical execution. Here's an example: as the day was wrapping up, and a bit *after* Jos and Tree's deadline for leaving had passed, they quickly posed my wife and I in front of a tree in the park; Jos had a vision for an image he wanted to capture in the fading light... and the resulting image proved absolutely magnificent; it is my favorite photo of the day, and among the top photographs I have seen anyone create, anywhere. On top of the artistic talent and skill, Jos & Tree were an absolute pleasure to work with; responsive, pleasant, personable, and fun. They were always on time, and ready to work... and work they did!! The amount of effort and energy they put into capturing lots of beautiful and creative images cannot be overstated. And then, they edited them beautifully, and have been working with us to select images to print and put in a book. The quality of their artistic consultation has been phenomenal. My wife and I have seen a lot of wedding photos that people proudly post online on sites like reddit. I can confidently say that I've yet to see more interesting and beautiful wedding photos than the ones I've seen from Jos and Tree. It's a pleasure to give these two lovely people our highest recommendation.

    Hiring Jos & Tree was the best decision we made for our wedding! Being a wedding photographer myself, this was at the top of my list to document all of those special memories from the day. Not only were they the photographers, they also became friends and were so easy to have with us the entire weekend. The photographs are beyond beautiful and we will treasure them forever!
