Hey there! I’m Kelsey Cuervo (yep, like the tequila). The talkative, bubbly, down-to-earth human behind Kelsey Cuervo Photography. I’m a Virginia based photographer documenting all of life’s moments, with my suitcase packed and ready to travel anywhere with you!
In 2017 I started this little business with the intention of connecting with couples, families and individuals around the world. Weddings and love stories are my jam, but I do a lot more than that. I’m all about capturing the joyful moments – the small details and the big emotions.

Giving you a beautifully curated gallery that has already been fully edited is part of what you are paying for when you hire me! A lot of time and thought go into editing and if I gave you unfinished images I wouldn’t be doing my job.
I’m glad you asked! I provide all of my couples, families and portrait clients with a style guide to help them pick out the PERFECT outfit for their session.
As a general rule of thumb, 4-6 weeks to complete a gallery, and sneak peaks within the first 72 hours of your session / event.
I always ask my brides and grooms to give me an extensive list of photos they want taken during the family portraits portion of their day. Beyond that, I find that shot lists can be distracting! If there’s something specific you want captured, I am happy to discuss that further during your consultation.
YES! My bags are literally always packed and ready to go. Check out my bucket list!
Generally, 40-50 images per hour of shooting. This varies depending on how much you have going on and whether or not a second photographer is part of your wedding day package!
I require a 25% non-refundable retainer in order to book. Once that deposit has been made, monthly payment plans can be set up.
Aside from correcting a blemish here or there, not really. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL JUST AS YOU ARE.

Ideally, to ensure that I am available on your wedding day, you should try and book me 6 months to a year in advance.
