I am an Oregon, USA born and raised portrait and wedding photographer. I have doing photography professionally for 10 years. I have dabbled with photography off and on my whole life but I have been professional since 2014, and as of Fall 2018, photography is my full-time pursuit! I currently reside in Ridgefield, Washington with my partner and two cats that are basically my children, I’m obsessed with animals. I love to travel! Road trips are my favorite so I can memorize the lyrics to songs and binge listen to podcasts- The Dollop, RedHanded & Crime Junkie are my favs!

I am passionate about capturing authentic photos that make you smile years from now, the last thing I want is a client to look back at their photos and think they look stiff or uncomfortable. I have a talent for getting anyone to loosen up in front of the camera so I can capture them truly being themselves.

    I am so grateful that we got to work with Krista! My partner and I are both a bit awkward in front of the camera, so we felt nervous at first. Krista is very kind and easygoing and she immediately made us feel comfortable. We did an engagement shoot with her a month or so before our elopement in our home and our neighborhood. She got many great shots that really felt like us, which has never been our experience with photos before. The day of our elopement she both had lots of ideas and also made sure to get what we had imagined, and took so many incredible photos! She was prompt and professional and was even willing to drive with us to another part of town to get some pictures with the cherry blossoms, which was truly above and beyond. Working with her was lovely all around and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone, especially awkward queer folks like ourselves who want to feel affirmed, supported, and beautiful.
