    I can say with 100% certainty, there is no one who could’ve captured our wedding better than Laren. I don’t even know where to begin, but I’ll do my best! From the very first conversation, Laren proved to be professional, warm, engaged, thoughtful, smart, artistic, and I could tell she absolutely loved what she did. I was drawn to her work originally because of it’s cinematic, timeless, and intimate quality--exactly what we were looking for. She strikes the perfect balance of capturing the small, beautiful moments between people, and showcasing the venue & event in it’s entirety. My husband and I have never done professional photos before, so we were surprised at how comfortable Laren made us feel in front of the camera. She encouraged us to be goofy, have fun, make each other laugh, and be playful without feeling forced whatsoever. She made us look beautiful, but never made us look like anything other than ourselves. What more could you want on your wedding day? Underneath all the artistry and kindness, she was also professional, prompt, an incredible wrangler, and flexible, and absolutely went beyond the “call of duty.” She moved swiftly but never made anyone feel rushed. I didn’t even notice her during the ceremony and reception, and she captured a million and one special moments—she’s magic!! Laren truly made us feel like old Hollywood stars. I am so incredibly thankful we chose each other for this special day, and I cannot recommend her enough. Book Laren and you will truly, truly be so impressed and grateful.

    We had the most wonderful experiences with Laren! We wanted our wedding photos to look timeless and classic. She gave us just what we were hoping for and captured our day exactly as we remembered it. She went above and beyond shooting our bride and groom portraits to follow! We had originally planned to take pictures the day following our wedding on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but when we arrived at our destination, it was 39 degrees and windy. After taking a few photos, Laren offered that we come back during a warmer time to take the pictures at no additional charge. The photos turned out BEAUTIFULLY!! There were so many good ones that we had a difficult time deciding which photos to print for our home. Laren has such a warm and encouraging personality that made my husband and me feel very comfortable from the get go. You will love your photos by her guaranteed!

    I don't even know where to start! Laren was the perfect photographer, and here are 10 reasons why: 1. She was super communicative. 2. She was always open to hearing my ideas and brainstorming together. 3. She woke up incredibly early to take our sunrise engagement photos to get the best shots. 4. She took my vision and made it happen. 5. She coached my husband and I how to model—posing isn't our strong suit. 6. I recommend doing engagement photos with her as well. It's a great way to build rapport and get little coaching in, while having a cohesive set of photos. 7. She's super professional, warm, friendly, and easy going. 8. She took a wide variety of shots. I really wanted those organic candids, and she made sure to take a good selection. 9. My wedding guests loved her! They kept talking about how nice and professional she was. 10. The photos themselves were perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better images. All of our friends constantly talk about how amazing our photos are. I could keep going! We loved having her as our photographer.

    As a wedding planner, quick and clear communication is very important to us! Laren was so accommodating when our out of town couple needed an engagement session and only had a tight window to do so! On top of this we are OBSESSED with her photos and cannot wait to work together again!
