After 10 years and over 200 weddings, I know how to fold into a large group of people, how to be there and make it feel like I'm not. I've been documenting weddings for nearly a decade and I love it even more now than when I started. My work is candid, emotional, and comfortable. I love to infuse editorial and documentary moments into my galleries, but mostly I just love to be able to photograph moments as they unfold.

My superpower is blending into a large group of people seamlessly and with ease. Ok, it's not a superpower, but when I have cameras strapped to my body, it feels like one. It gives me the ability to capture connections that happen within a split second, to create a safe space for vulnerability, to amplify the energy in a room, and to step in when you truly need it most. I'm the girl that will always have your back. I'm cool, calm, and collected and will also fluff your dress, help you put on your veil, tell you if your makeup needs fixing and be your silent-ish cheerleader. I'm the friend by your side that you didn't know you needed ;)

with a variety of elopement packages to choose from, our most popular will have you covered from the moment you slip into your outfits and saying "we do", to running around documenting your love story. you can count on me to be with you for up to 4 hours. this is great for up to 20 guests and 2 different locations i'll be there by your side to photograph the most special part of the day as it unfolds

with a variety of custom wedding packages to choose from, our most popular will have you covered from the first hour of getting ready up until the dance party starts getting good. this is great for a min. of 50 guests and up to 2 different locations you'll have 2 photographers to document the day from all different perspectives and a well-rounded gallery delivered to you to share with all your family and friends.

    It’s been a year since our wedding and I still look at the photos Melissa captured of us on a daily basis. When we were going through the painstaking process of planning and budgeting for our wedding, photos were at the top of my list in terms of their importance. Enter Melissa—we met a year and a half before our wedding day when she took our engagement photos and it was basically love at first sight. We felt so incredibly comfortable with her almost immediately and by the end of our session, we were bantering and joking around like old friends. Flash forward to our wedding day—not only did Melissa take gorgeous photos of our ceremony, first look, reception, etc, but she was a support system and that is something that is truly invaluable on one of the biggest days of your life. I can’t recommend her more.
