I’m honored with each opportunity to literally tell the story of each couple’s unique day through photography. I pay attention to detail as not to miss any moment or important detail and I also take great pride in the editing process as well. I truly enjoy turning the photographs into genuine works of art.

I create a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere during our time together! I am well trained in posing and providing prompts during the portrait sessions. That’s because my goal is to make you and your partner, and also everyone else that has to come to be a part of your special day, feel comfortable and at ease…even have some fun with it! This helps us capture genuine moments, real excitement, and true essence of the wedding day.

    Melissa was very professional, pleasant and punctual. She went through all of the images she wanted to take for us with ease, and captured a lot of candid moments that are some of our favorite pictures! Her editing skills are pretty amazing, and really brought our pictures to another level and that’s exactly what I was looking for when it comes to our wedding pictures. I was really impressed with her level of professionalism, how she didn’t miss anything, and made all of us feel really comfortable. She was just a real pleasure to work with!

    I truly couldn’t be happier with choosing Melissa Marx! The process beforehand was really easy on my end, she was super helpful and attentive.     Melissa photographed our May 2022 wedding, and I would definitely recommend her! We first contacted Melissa after a friend referred us to her.  Melissa was consistently communicative, agile, and punctual throughout the entire process.  Her vibe aligned exactly with what we were seeking, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The quality and style of her images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s both modern and timeless.   The connection and ease we found with her shows through in the final product.  Melissa’s eye for detail is astounding, and beyond her technical expertise, she is a joy to work with.  We have the most beautiful and unrushed photos from our magical, big day.  If you’re looking for a cheap photographer, Melissa definitely isn’t the one for you. But if you value photography and want someone who is a master of their craft and a true professional all-round, look no further.  Plus, she offers something that not all photographers can – true artistry.  Our wedding photos are completely unique to us and our event, we framed a print that hangs over our couch and receives frequent compliments.
