I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember; I used it like a pocket journal of sorts and photographed constantly while growing up in Hawai'i. I fell into weddings when my dad remarried in 2013, and I remember being caught off guard by the swirl of emotions I felt standing at the edge of a new beginning. Turning those feelings into tangible memories was the only thing that made sense. I moved to New York City to refine my skillset and took a detour into the fashion industry before receiving my Bachelor's in photography from NYU.

In 2017, I married my high school sweetheart, relocated to Seattle, and decided to pursue weddings full time. I realized that I loved bearing witness to what happens at weddings — the camera allows me access into some of life's most celebratory moments, as well as the quiet, intimate spaces shared with those closest. Articulating these experiences into photographs and helping people tell their story is deeply rewarding for me; it feels like what I was always meant to do. Connecting with incredible, like-minded people & working other creatives as a result of all this has been just as rich.

Natalie is an absolutely amazing, fun, and talented photographer and human being. We loved having her!! 10/10 y’all!! She is so talented that she shoots in both film and digital! She was so kind and patient with us throughout the day even though we were running behind and we both had LARGE families that love having photos taken. She was so patient throughout all the iterations of family photos and didn’t rush us at all but also got the day moving. She was calm and she checked in on us to make sure we were ok. When we felt stressed, she assured us everything was going to be alright and that we had time. I can’t stress how huge this was! I think this shows that she’s not just an incredible photographer but also an amazing human being who cares about her clients. And of course beyond that, we LOVE our photos! There are truly TOO Many good ones to choose from. She was absolutely a star and we loved working with her so much. She got the needed family shots but also got some really cool artistic fashion shots too! AND on top of that, photos of details that were honestly very carefully chosen out. And it made us so happy that she caught that and documented it. For example, the tea ceremony teapot and cups were a long adventure to find and hold significance for us. She just does it all folks. She’s amazing and I am so glad we had her for our engagement shoot and our big day. We love you Natalie! Thank you for everything!

There’s something truly special about meeting, working with, and befriending Natalie. Her work initially caught our eye through a friend. We loved how comprehensively she told the story of their wedding and the unique unexpected moments she captured, how easy-going her subjects looked, and the expert use of lighting to accentuate or soften depending on the shot. Luckily for us, our experience with Natalie delivered the same magic. First, it’s important to know that in addition to her talent, artistic eye, and perfect execution, she is incredibly patient, understanding, and comforting – everything you want during the planning process and the day of your wedding. From the moment we had our first call, we felt like she understood what we wanted and trusted her to turn our various impulses and desires into a cohesive vision. Throughout the process, she helped push us along to make decisions at the right time (without rushing us) and she even took the extra step of meeting all of our other vendors and creative partners – making us feel like we had a real harmonious team working together. The weekend of, she was always in the right place at the right time, knowing when to blend in and when to provide needed direction. She put thoughtful consideration into every photo she took (accounting for different group dynamics, environmental elements, activities, etc) and calmly and effortlessly organized our friends and family to get in all the important photos before and after the ceremony. She made us feel so comfortable on the big day, and does so many little things well that are hard to appreciate until you're there and it's all happening. By the end of our wedding weekend, she truly felt like an integral part of our wedding story and community. And of course the photos were incredible! Neither of us feel like we're very photogenic, but thanks to her calming presence and great direction/guidance (pose, posture, setting!), she put us at ease and captured us, our guests, and the overall vibe so well. Many of our friends have commented on the “elevated” and “editorial” quality to our photos and have expressed interest in working with her as well. Every time we look through our photos we notice something new and are transported back to the feeling of the day, and we’ll be forever grateful to Natalie. We couldn’t recommend or trust her more and advise that anyone considering her services jumps on the opportunity before her calendar fills up!

Natalie is amazing! She is extremely organized and communicative, and leads everyone through photos seamlessly all day. She is great at guiding the couple through photo priorities and capturing what is important to them, and is so artful with her work, using both film and digital!

We reached out to Natalie to be our wedding photographer because her portfolio was beautiful and colorful! From the moment we met Natalie, we felt a connection to her. When we had a vendor hiccup in the planning process, they were supportive and suggested alternatives - demonstrating their thoughtfulness and kindness. On the wedding day, her professional expertise shone through. They were organized, attentive, and seamlessly blended into the background, capturing moments without being intrusive. Her calming presence and ability to anticipate important shots made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to fully enjoy our day.
