Hey, I'm Mary! It's nice to meet you. Summing up who I am in an "about me" is always difficult. What you must know: (1) I'm a nerd. If you want to talk video games, LOTR or Doctor Who, we HAVE to sit down for a bourbon or a coffee. (2) Yes, I will be out on that dance floor with you snapping away while joining in on the fun. And (3), while I'm a photographer first, supporting you during the planning process feels crucial to me - from building a timeline to having your back any way I can.

Connection is everything. It is the catalyst for a fantastic experience and without, it can lead to totally awkward moments (and photos). Making a genuine connection with you is my top priority. I want you to look back at your photos and feel the day - my hope is that your wedding gallery will be full of photos you love (and didn't even notice I was taking). And that's me!     It’s somehow already been over a year since we got married, and any time our wedding gets brought up, Mary is the first topic. How wonderful she is, how out-of-this-world talented she is, how much we wish we could be photographed by her again. To only reflect on how accommodating and professional Mary is (and she is) would be a disservice to all of the other things she brought to our day. Ultimately Mary ended up feeling like a vital organ to us. She gave clear direction for a shot, while always managing to let us be completely natural. She felt so intimately a part of each moment, while somehow still cultivating a feeling of total privacy. I also can’t tell you the number of times that either my wife or I couldn’t find our purse, shoes, bouquet, etc. only for Mary to already have it in her hands. She was our constant, our steadying force. We asked Mary to capture our totally sincere obsession with each other in the most organic way possible, and she delivered in spades. I could go on and on, because truly I have never felt more beautiful than in these wedding photos, but the moral of the story is, just hire Mary for everything you want captured in its truest form. You wont be disappointed.

    Mary is the easiest person to work with, she is knowledgeable, follows her intuition, and treats everyone she encounters with a genuine warmth and kindness as if she has known them forever. She not only took our engagement photos in our backyard, but returned a year later to shoot our backyard wedding. Our friends and family all adored her and I would lovingly refer her to anyone searching for a photographer. Not only are her people skills admirable, her photography is beautiful. Our wedding photos are a dream and I go through them often. She captured the coziness of our event and the love everyone has for one another in the photos. She took and needed very little direction coming from myself, knowing little of photography or traditional wedding photos. She even helped me in understanding a traditional flow of events. I would happily seek her out again and/or implore her to take any future photos we require, as I can't imagine being so comfortable with another photographer now. I can not say enough nice things about MJC image.

    We absolutely cannot say enough good things about Mary! She was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for. She brought the good vibes throughout the day and her photos were absolutely gorgeous- we love them so much!! Not to mention she also helped us finalize the timeline for the day from start to finish. She was professional, detail oriented, and extremely kind. We have been singing her praises to everyone we know. Thank you Mary for being the best and for giving us photos we will cherish forever.

    From the engagement shoot to the wedding day, our experience with Mary was simply amazing. Photography can be so intrusive and daunting, especially on your wedding day. Not with Mary. Everything was discussed prior to the day and she knew exactly what we wanted. We were able to enjoy our day without even noticing Mary capturing every moment. When looking at our wedding pictures, I am able to relive and feel that day. It is bittersweet that my husband passed six months after we wed, but I am grateful and thankful for Mary. She captured my husband's smiles (big and small), the loving way he looked at me and his overall happiness that day, which is just priceless. I highly recommend this highly talented and professional photographer.
