Paint My Mind Photography
I’m Brittany, a laid-back, candid and colorful photographer in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I love working with ALL couples, but especially have a soft spot for non-traditional weddings. My gays, weirdos, ADHDers, D&D players- I'm your girl. Let's connect over our shared passions or fandoms- I'm a lover of all things spooky, Halloween, books, cats, oat milk lattes, Star Wars, and continuing education courses.
Coming from a unique background, I’m here to help you with whatever wedding issues arise. Not having a father-daughter dance because your dad is a jack-hole? HEARD THAT. Having some issues with family and need a liaison, or a body guard? Good thing I lift heavy weights ;) Someone who respects and appreciates your pronouns, relationship, love story, dynamic? ABSOLUTELY! You deserve that respect. I’m constantly working on myself and my craft so that I can provide the best experience to all of my couples. My goal is for clients to think of me as their friend by the time the wedding day is done.

Grateful Gals!
We have only received the sneak peek from our wedding and my WIFE and I are obsessed! Brittany was so friendly and easy to work with and definitely knew what to do to capture our vibe! She is absolutely amazing and I will be singing her praises for the rest of my life as I share the pictures of our wedding day (and engagement) countless times! Good energy, excellent pictures- worth every penny plus some!

Brittany was beyond amazing on our wedding day. She is fun with lots of energy and she listened to everything that I wanted. My husband and I are terrible with being photographed and Brittany just accepted our awkward and ran with it. Brittany's professionalism and attention to detail was inspiring and much appreciated. She kept me sane and on track the entire day and even advocated for me when I was too anxious to do so myself. Our photos are stunning and far exceeded my expectations. The gallery is simple to access and share. I was happy to see that it is also organized by the type of picture and time of day. It was also very easy to favorite and order any photos that I wanted. Overall, the entire experience that we had with Paint My Mind Photography was absolutely outstanding and I am very excited to work with Brittany again.

My (now husband!) and I are from Chicago and first met Brittany in 2021 at our best friend’s wedding in Michigan, and we loved her work so much, we knew right away we wanted to work with her whenever our big day happened! Fast forward two years, and Brittany her assistant Alexa traveled to Chicago for us and captured every single special moment! She was so empathetic and knew when to give us moments in private, but also got creative and made us look stunning in not-so-glamourois Chicago alleyways. Thank you for giving us a lifetime of memories, Brittany!
You can't go wrong picking Paint My Mind!
We hired Brittany for our wedding and she was phenomenal! Planning with her beforehand gave me so much peace of mind and her ability to make you feel comfortable getting your photo taken and given quick direction was excellent (even with my camera shy husband)! She is so kind and was able to chat with some of our friends and family, who have all been raving about how great her and her sister/helper were. We are already obsessed with our sneak peak photos and I know when we get our gallery it is going to be impossible to decide what pictures are going on the wall. We will absolutely be hiring Brittany for any future photos we want to get and can't wait to work with her again for some family/fur baby photos!
