Sophisticated and timeless fine art photography based in Portland, Oregon. With over ten years of experience, Photography Avec Meg specializes in wedding and engagement photography. Megan’s style combines natural and airy techniques and an emphasis on capturing candid moments with elegance.

My work is inspired by my favorite places including the light and airy environment of the Oregon Coast to the chic and vibrant streets of Paris. I was fortunate to grow up in one of the most beautiful places on the Oregon Coast, in the quaint town of Newport, where I realized how artistically inspiring my surroundings were. I use natural light, incredible scenery, and the personalities of my subjects to document portraits, engagements, elopements, and editorial photography.

    It was an absolute delight to have Meg photograph our wedding. She is thoughtful and sweet, and so easy to work with. My husband and I met with her to do engagement photos to make sure we’d be a good fit and Meg immediately put us both at ease (although we did our engagement session at a winery so the pinot may have had something to do with that as well). On our wedding day she was a cool, calming presence behind the lens, and even in our most intimate moments I never felt the camera was intrusive. We forgot she was there, and I think that’s one of the best compliments I can give. We love her light, natural photography style, and she has captured so many beautiful moments that we will treasure forever. We’re both very glad she was able to share our special day with us, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
