Immediately, this hobby turned into a passion. Friends, family, city, country, events, food, plants…you name it, I took a picture of it. I came to learn that I was most fulfilled by the things I found in front of my camera’s lens, not the camera itself. I then became enamored with developing my ability to snap a picture at the exact second a genuine smile fills my focal point, or the moment when couples get lost in each other and completely forget that I’m there. My camera became an extension of me and how I see the world. Through photography, I get to capture people’s happiest moments, and there’s no better subject to frame than our own joy.

Candids are my jam. My experience with weddings does not end with photography. I have been a bridesmaid eight times and a maid-of-honor five times (cue the "27 Dresses" jokes, hahah). This means I know how a wedding should flow, how much time should be allotted for pictures, what touches couples find important, and how to not miss the small details. I will use this knowledge and experience to help your day flow as smoothly as possible -- ensuring you are able to enjoy the little moments instead of constantly worrying, "What's next?" You won’t feel stiff or staged in front of my lens.

    Rachelle (and Josh!) made all of our dreams come true! I can't say enough about how thrilled we are with our wedding photos. The booking process was incredibly smooth and Rachelle was available for any and all questions! Nothing was too silly or small. Rachelle did a great job creating a timeline that worked for us and what we wanted out of our day. On the day of, Rachelle arrived early and set up very fast! She immediately got to work shooting our detail shots, getting ready candids, and photos with my bridesmaids. Josh went to a different location to be with all the guys, so we were able to get so many pictures before the wedding even started! Our formal wedding photos at the church with our families went sooo smooth and fast! This was really important to us since our grandparents weren't able to stand for very long, so we appreciated the efficiency. Rachelle took tons of candids of the bridal party on the party bus on the way back to the reception which was so fun and got everyone ready and in the mood to party! She also had such fun prompts to make our candids feel more relaxed and easy. We took our couples portraits so quickly and we got SO MANY!! Rachelle and Josh made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Lastly, I was expecting maybe 20-30 pics in our sneak peek and we got 120!!!! We had the best time on our honeymoon looking through our photos everyday!!
