BEST Oahu photographer!!

I first found Ruth on instagram; I saw a friend post the most gorgeous photos from her honeymoon in Hawaii that just made me stop my scroll. My husband and I were planning our own honeymoon in Oahu, so I immediately knew that I just *needed* to have Ruth take our photos there! From the very first email interaction, Ruth was so unbelievably sweet and enthusiastic, and made the whole process so easy and fun. She made it a point to call and chat over the phone so that we could get to know each other better, and helped my husband and I to feel so comfortable and relaxed. She even helped me pick out outfits for the session, going as far as to send me screenshots and links to different dresses (one of which I actually ended up loving and buying!). She was very responsive and stayed in contact with me consistently throughout the entire planning process, so that I never felt worried or concerned in the least. This was our first time ever visiting Oahu and we had absolutely NO clue what we wanted, we just told Ruth that we wanted beautiful photos and she helped us figure out all of the other details! The session itself was SO much fun—Ruth was a wonderful tour guide and showed us three incredible, gorgeous locations that we otherwise likely never would’ve discovered on our own. My husband and I are both pretty introverted and dislike being the center of attention, but Ruth was somehow able to pick amazing spots that were scenic, beautiful, AND away from crowds, and we truly felt like we were just having a great time hanging out as three friends instead of awkwardly posing for photos with a stranger. And the final gallery absolutely BLEW ME AWAY!! On the morning that I got the email from Ruth with the gallery link, I genuinely considered calling in sick to work just so I could stay home and look through the photos all day! The way that Ruth was able to capture the authentic, candid emotions of the moments we experienced is something almost magical that I just can’t put into words. The photos feel so real, and you can sense the genuine happiness and love that we shared so well. None of them feel posed or forced, and you can’t tell at all by looking at them that we’re two people who aren’t super comfortable in front of the camera. Ruth truly has a GIFT and we are THRILLED that we were able to have her capture us with her beautiful art!! She set the bar so high that I don’t think anyone else will ever be able to compare. If you are in Oahu even for one day, CALL RUTH and set up a photo session—trust me, it will be the best decision you make!!
