Hey there! I’m a weddings and couples photographer based in Chicago, IL with my partner Emily and my rescue dog Daxter. I’m here to document joy and celebrate all the meaningful moments with the kickass people that find me.

Are you focused less on poses and more on moments? Like capturing your partner's cute-ass belly laugh or the way they look at you on a date night out? ME TOO. I use a candid style - meaning that during photo sessions we have as much fun as possible so you feel as natural as possible. And on your wedding day: I'm there with you every step of the way to document how your day happens organically, focusing entirely on letting you experience your day exactly how you want to. My goal is that when you receive your finished gallery, you'll see a beautiful and totally natural, chronological collection of the day from start to finish.

This is my standard wedding photography package: 6 Hour Starting: $4,000 8 Hour Starting: $4,500 8 Hours + Second Shooter: $5,200 But you don't fit a mold, so your wedding day shouldn't have to either! So if you don't see what you're looking for, my packages can be customized to fit any wedding day and most budgets.

Let's plan a date night and celebrate you two! These sessions can be anything and anywhere that you'd like them to be. You show up and we dance around and belly-laugh the night away while you celebrate your relationship and make some great new memories in front of my camera.     Sam has second shot two weddings with and for me, and both times I was so pleased with his final images, but more importantly his enthusiasm on wedding days and instincts as a photographer! Sam has such a positive energy about him that makes him the perfect person to have by your side on a wedding or elopement day (whether you're a fellow photographer or the people getting married!), and it's evident in his photos that the couples he works with feel that good energy. Whenever I see his work, I always think that the couples look so relaxed and like they're having a genuinely good time in front of his camera, which is such an important part of capturing the unique love between two people on their wedding or elopement day. You'd be lucky to have him!

    I had the pleasure of working along side Sam for a wedding back in March. Being the wedding coordinator, I had the responsibility of confirming everything with each vendor. Sam was awesome and so quick at responding. He confirmed everything with me leading up to the wedding day. Sam is beyond professional and was so fantastic at keeping to the wedding day timeline and getting in every shot the brides requested. His photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend hiring Sam for your special day photography. I hope to get to work with him again and will most definitely be recommending him to my future wedding couples.

    From start to finish, my wife and I were truly overwhelmed by Sam’s talent, calm demeanor, and overall organization even on a hectic wedding day. We knew during the engagement shoot that we were in the best hands in the city. We, along with our family’s, thrived off of his consistent humor and lightheartedness throughout the day. Sam always made us feel incredibly comfortable and it came across in our photos. We could not picture our wedding day without him there (and even wanted him to stay as a guest). He truly went above and beyond in every aspect, helping out and organizing wherever he was needed! We are so happy with all of our photos, and will be sure to continue using Sam in future life events! A true Chicago gem! We did all the work for you - the search is over!!     We booked Sam for our elopement at City Hall in October and cannot say enough wonderful things about working with him! From the very beginning, he was organized and communicative and put us totally at ease. The day of our marriage ceremony, he was the absolute best third wheel, making the day feel special by hyping us up and also disappearing into the background so that we could have some special moments that felt more private. Neither my husband or I had ever done a formal photoshoot before but we both felt so comfortable with Sam that it wasn't awkward. And most importantly, the end product was phenomenal. Sam had edited (and shared with us!) more than half the gallery by the end of the day. The photos are gorgeous (the colors, the lighting, the framing of the shots) and perfectly capture our special day. We feel so seen. 10/10 would book again!
