I'm the one behind the camera that is bigger than my face. Since 2007, my mission has been to capture every precious moment, both candid & posed, without being obtrusive. Each image should take you right back to that emotion for years to come. You will spend more time with your photographer on your wedding day than anyone else, so make sure whomever you choose, you have a good connection with. My goal is to spoil my clients with amazing images, of course, but also to create a calm environment by having a positive attitude & servant spirit.

From the first email to the final album & art delivery, you will be guided & assisted in each step of this journey with the personal service of a seasoned professional. Designing timeless wall art & heirloom albums to cherish & pass down to loved ones is my passion. I believe wholeheartedly that your images should be printed - not stored on a hard drive for years. I am a licensed Great Smoky Mountains National Park photographer. I can recommend the perfect Smoky Mountain wedding venue for an elopement or the ideal spot for a photo session. Just ask.     If anyone is looking for a photographer, pick Shanell and you won’t be disappointed! We hired Shanell for our wedding in Pigeon Forge, TN on December 4th, 2020. She was available from the beginning to answer any questions that would come up and was great with communication throughout the whole process. The day of our wedding, it rained all day. I thought for sure that pictures would be limited by the weather, but Shanell thought otherwise. Her and her second photographer, Danielle, were troopers and took some amazing photos of us in the rain. It was pretty darn cold, everything was soaked, and yet they were able to capture pictures that I will cherish forever! She made the experience so fun and made us forget about the weather conditions. Besides being willing to take pictures in the rain, Shanell does an awesome job at paying attention to the small details. The wedding album and even the USB drive we received were personalized with special touches that made them feel so special. Shanell is so great to work with and will do a fantastic job at capturing memories for any occasion. I highly recommend Shanell as a photographer and will definitely be making a road trip in the future to see her again for more pictures!

    Shanell was our photographer for our fall wedding! It was absolutely beautiful and she did a perfect job capturing every moment of that day! We loved working with her and enjoyed all the meetings we had because we just love being around her! Because of COVID, we had to change our wedding date and she was easy to communicate with and ended up calming me down when I would panic! :) She had this little dance she did when she would get ready to take pictures that added to the fun of the day! Everyone commented on her making all the photos a breeze and a joy to do! I also went and did a boudoir shoot with her for a Christmas gift for my husband. HIGHLY recommend adding that to your must-haves, brides!! It was so incredibly empowering and SO much fun! Embrace your curves and EVERY perfect imperfection that makes you unique! We are SO grateful for all of Shanell's hard work, professionalism, and awesome attitude! We adore every single photo she has captured for us and have loved every minute we've gotten to spend with her!
