At every wedding, I'm constantly alert to the small moments that make a day unique: a father's kiss, an heirloom kerchief, a ring bearer getting licked by the groom's dog. I see beauty everywhere on a wedding day. I spend the entire day smiling. My face usually hurts on my drive home ;)! Although I'm primarily photojournalistic in style, I know how to take charge for posed portraits. I've been a photographer full-time for over ten years, and I can be quick and efficient for group shots, so you can get back to your party! I also love sneaking you two away for some lovely portraits when the light is perfect.

I love meeting couples and learning their story; in my previous career I was an anthropologist, so I really love discovering what makes people tick! I used to train chimpanzees to pee in cups for me for science, and in that career I learned how to really observe, and to be patient for exactly the right moment. I don't just take the "standard" shots; I'm always looking for a unique angle or the perfect moment for a photograph. If you have a dog at your wedding, it will be hard for me to tear myself away from him/her, but I will, I promise! ;-)

    Stephanie is a wonderful photographer. From the first moment I contacted her to receiving my pictures and Wedding book, I had a such a wonderful experience. Stephanie has an ability like no other. Her presence is one that brings you a calmness, which on your wedding day you will appreciate! When I look at my wedding pictures, I can still smell the fragrance of the food we ate, the emotions I was feeling, and the way the sun and air felt on my face. Stephanie did that. She captured all those little things that are so important and magical. If my house had more walls they would be filled with her photographs.

    Stephanie is an unbelievably talented photographer! Stephanie had an amazing ability to capture both the posed and candid moments of our wedding. Her work is absolutely stunning and she is a joy to work with. We cherish our wedding photos so much and could not be happier with the memories of our special day. Following our wedding, we even had Stephanie come back to capture newborn photos! We highly recommend Stephanie to anyone that is looking for a great wedding photographer.

    It’s hard to imagine our wedding without Stephanie’s calm presence and gorgeous photos. We had a very small wedding (28 people) at a vineyard in Connecticut. Stephanie captured the intimacy of our event and so many wonderful spontaneous moments. She has the uncanny ability to let the wedding flow unhindered, and yet - when the moment comes for that great snapshot - she is in the right place at the right time! For our wedding, some of my favorite photos were taken at dusk, when the kids were ready to let off some steam and went outside to run through the rows of grapevines. Stephanie’s photos embody the freedom and joy of those stolen moments. She is a true artist - and a lovely, warm person. I highly recommend her.

    Stephanie was absolutely AMAZING! If we could give 10 stars we would. During our consultation she was so reassuring and did not mind my many questions (and trust me there were a lot). Our day was so full of love it was overwhelming after the wedding to remember everything. With her artistic eye and ninja like movement she caught it ALL. From the natural blending moments of our families to the personality of both my husband and I together. Five years later we look at pictures or scroll through our wedding book and every happy moment comes flowing back. Thank you Stephanee, you are truly talented.
