I’m Maggie! I am a fine art, documentary wedding photographer. I like to mix real life moments with a few naturally posed, timeless portraits, so at the end of the day you have a collection of memories that are authentic and that you can cherish forever. What drives me are real people, and real moments. That’s what I love about wedding days! It’s about the little moments that turn into big moments. The people who were there all along and will forever be cheering you on. Your next step documented, shared, and treasured. My images will always reflect the truth of your day, shot in a timeless and artistic way.

My philosophy on wedding photography is that photos aren’t the most important part of your wedding day. Weird thing for a photographer to say, right? But it’s true! My number one goal on every wedding day is that the two people getting married enjoy their day to its fullest—and then amazing photos are the byproduct of that. The framers and posed photos 100% have their place on a wedding day, but the best wedding galleries are filled with those amazing portraits AND candid photos that remind the couple of all the special little moments in between the posed portraits.

    Maggie is the absolute best. She takes the time to get to know her clients, their desired style for scenery/poses/editing, and even took the time to ask us if we had any specific insecurities or things we didn't want highlighted in photos so she could pose us and work around those things as necessary. She does all of this while maintaining such a natural editing style that accurately captures your precious memories. The cues she gives to capture candid photos are perfect for people like me who are awkward when getting pictures taken. She is also available after delivering sneak peaks and final galleries if you have any questions, want something edited a little differently, decide you want a black and white version of a specific photo, etc. She made our engagement photo and wedding photo experience so enjoyable that we just recently asked her to do a maternity shoot for us as well. You won't be disappointed with her services!

    We hired Stepping Stones Photography for our October 2023 wedding. We purchased the photo only package that included 2 photographers. I am so glad that we choose the package with 2 photographers! We had a morning wedding and were a bit short on time before the wedding to take pictures. Stepping Stones Photography was able to work with us on a plan to ensure we were able to get all the pictures we wanted for our day! Even when things changed on the day of the wedding, Maggie and team were able to work with us and quickly pivot! From the beginning, Maggie was very professional and helped make our wedding planning and wedding day stress-free. We absolutely love our pictures. They perfectly captured our special day!!! We will cherish the pictures for an eternity.
