This Insane Idea Photography
My name is Mark and I created “This Insane Idea” with the vision that anything is possible. I've had a passion for photography my entire life, capturing moments around me in the most authentic ways until one day my wife told me “go full time”, it was insane. I fell in love with wedding photography and the emotion it brought out for everyone involved. Family, love, laughter and memories are four things that I think about on a daily basis, I’m practically addicted. When I’m not obsessing over wedding photography I am spending time with my wife Brittany, two sons and our two huskies. We look forward to capturing your day!
I always joke around and say you can throw a rock and find a good photographer, but what makes us different is that in addition to amazing photos, is an equally great experience. We have an extreme familiarity with exceeding expectations and providing a full service high end experience!

The best part of our wedding!
Mark, Brittany, Tom, Kasey. I cannot put into words how amazing this team is, but here I go! Their work is brilliant and speaks for itself! But let me tell you from firsthand experience. From day one, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day and everything in between, they are the best people to have by your side. Nick and I were always nervous for our photos. Being a gay couple it isn’t always easy feeling like yourselves in front of people, let alone in front of a camera! Not once did we not feel like us. This easily became one of our favorite parts of wedding planning and our wedding day! Don’t overthink. Pick Mark and his team. You deserve to have the best group of people around you. You’ll feel like the luckiest couple with them!
THEY ARE ALL AMAZING
If you want to be treated like a king and queen for a day, book them! We used them for our engagement pictures and wedding. They are personable and easy to work with. We are very uncomfortable in front of the camera but they made it so much fun for us. Everything that we imagined for the day, they exceeded! Mark, Brittany, Tom and Josh were super helpful getting all the details of our day perfect. We won the lottery picking them to capture the best day of our lives!

I recently worked with Mark as a second shooter for a wedding and I could not have asked for a better partner and mentor to tackle that day with. Mark completely blew me away with his composure and positive attitude going into unfamiliar territory but still being able to tell a beautiful love story through his photos and keen eye for detail. I used Mark and his team for my wedding ! My husband and I felt so comfortable with them. They felt like family and as if we knew them forever. They made our special day seamless, fun and just simply amazing! It’s important to be comfortable with your wedding photographer because it makes such a difference in your day. And i absolutely am obsessed with my teasers. I cannot wait to see them all and our video ! Our families had nothing but the best things to say about them as well !!
