At the age of 19 I left my small, strange hometown of Branson, Missouri to see the world. I began taking photos as a way to capture everything I was seeing. During this nomadic season, I continuously developed my style while creating as many new experiences as possible. While hitchhiking through New Zealand in 2014, I met the love of my life. Her name is Indy. After years of long distance and visa paperwork, we got married in 2019. We now are lucky enough to capture other folk's love story.

Our approach to every shoot we do is a mixture of organic, minimally directed portraiture & photojournalism. We're there for more than just showing up and clicking a button. We're there to be a friend that you can trust entirely with the capturing of your wedding day. There’s a lot to keep track of on your wedding day, the last thing you need is a photographer who’s uncertain of what to do or too shy to adapt as situations change. I guarantee confidence and a positive, helpful presence throughout your wedding day. We also specialize in Super 8 video and Film packages to bring a completely unique medium to document your day.

    Henry (and often Indi, his wife) are the people behind the immaculate company: Torches Together. A company that considers every detail of photographing your event and enters into these spaces with honor and creativity as utmost pillars. Their work speaks highly on its own, but once you meet the beautiful, caring individuals behind the brilliant work, you're going to understand why I chose the words "immaculate" and "ideal". They will go above and beyond in service and originality for your celebration (in a way that feels so utterly like you). Capturing the soft, unseen moments and the spotlit moments with a raw and sentimental flare that is unique to them. I have worked alongside them as co- vendors, and co-creators, and have hired them to capture my own brand's essence. I deeply cherish the moments they've captured for me and with me.

    Henry and Indy were so professional and so much fun to work with! We hired Torches for our small wedding and the video and photos turned out beautifully. We felt so comfortable trusting Henry and Indy with our intimate ceremony and they quickly became friends. The Super 8 film they captured was absolutely stunning and it will be something we cherish forever. I cannot recommend Torches Together enough and I would love to hire them again in the future!

    I cannot recommend Henry and Indy enough. This couple captured our elopement better than I even could have imagined. My husband and I have their photos all over our walls now to commemorate the special day. Torches Together did Super 8 video, 35mm film, polaroids, and digital photos for us (I know, we really got the whole shebang). We could not be happier with any of it. Henry and Indy were so kind and easy to work with, had a calm and joyful presence throughout the ceremony, and really made us feel like we were hanging out with friends more than taking photos. It was a true joy. BOOK THEM!
