Hey there, I’m Trish! I’m the owner and photographer behind Trish Gates Photography! Thanks for checking out my page! First things first, I have a love for coffee, the beach, and a good book! I grew up in Woonsocket, SD. After many years spent as a traveling x-ray tech, I moved back to South Dakota. I love spending time with my family and friends. After my daughter was born, I decided to buy a “nice” camera and try my hand at doing my own photos. My love for taking pictures became a true passion and seven years later here I am!! I love capturing those candid moments in life when I'm lucky enough to be behind the camera.

I was lucky enough to be able to finally make the leap with opening my studio in January of 2018. My goal is to give clients beautiful photos with timeless edits to help you remember what life was like during a certain time. My favorite parts during a session are the moments where I can shoot the personality of each of my clients. I am always down for an adventure and am extremely spontaneous!!
