Aficial Events is a small wedding planning business. I offer 2-Month Coordination + Day-of Services, Partial and Full Event Planning. I specialize in creating a relaxed, cool, and enjoyable wedding day filled with unique elements that tell the story of the couple. I love working with individuals with a clear yet flexible vision and are chill, fun, and non-traditional!

I'm cool, calm, fun, and non-traditional in life and when it comes to wedding planning and day-of coordination. I'm a team player and strive in wedding environments where I use our built timeline as a guide to move swiftly through the day. I take things one step at a time when things veer from our timeline, and take pride in being clam and collected when dealing with those surprises. I am confident in the work that I do and work well with couples that share a similar vibe. :)

We were so happy to work with Karen and her team for our wedding! We hired her to help us with 2 month and day-of coordination, and we really couldn't have done it without her. She is so organized, flexible, and well-connected, and that helped so much with our pre-wedding stress. Even when we would frantically reach out with questions, she would always ease our minds by responding in a timely manner and she was always willing to workshop ideas with us. Not to mention, she is such a bubbly and lovely person to have around! On the day of the wedding, Kim and Antonio were so calm, considerate, and organized - between the two of them and Karen's thoughtful coordination, our day truly went off without a hitch. We are so grateful for everything they did to help us have the perfect day!

Choosing Aficial Events is a no brainer. From the initial meeting to the big day, Karen was everything my wife and I could ask for and more. Karen creates a comfortable environment where it feels like you are working together with a friend. We had such a wonderful experience working with someone with this level of professionalism while also being very chill and fun. She is incredibly organized which helped with coordinating with all our vendors and venue. On top of that, she provided us with multiple spreadsheets and other organizational tools making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. We had no problem communicating with Karen as she was very responsive via text or virtual meetings. Most importantly, Karen was able to take our vision, fine tune it and make it a reality. Her creativity and problem solving skills are unmatched. Any questions or issues that arose, she had an answer and/or plan. My wife and I were able to be present and enjoy one of the greatest days of our lives because Karen executed it flawlessly. We definitely recommend Karen to anyone looking for a planner/coordinator. She killed it at our wedding and she will definitely do the same for yours!

We were incredibly lucky to hire Karen and have her join us as our wedding coordinator. We took our time and were a bit slow when looking for a coordinator. But, we were immediately drawn to Karen’s work when we found her website and crossed our fingers that our date was still open. She responded so quickly and was available to meet despite her full wedding list! Karen is so good at what she does! She is super organized and helped us stay on track from getting the vendors aligned with the venue to making sure we have things planned out. We would have been scrambling around to the very last minute without her guidance and sharing her experiences! She kept and shared her organizational tools for all the things we needed to do and made it super easy to keep track of everything. She was super easy to work with and was very responsive, even if sometimes we weren’t (sorry Karen!) She also has various rentals that are available for her couples, which turned out to be super useful for us as we rented some table signs, dessert platters, and other things. It was a super bonus since the rentals looked good and fit our wedding aesthetic. On the day of the wedding, she kept everything running super smooth and kept us at-ease, relaxed, and chill even when we were slightly behind schedule. We were able to just enjoy every moment on our wedding day and have an amazing day with her at the helm! We definitely recommend Karen, book her now and you won’t regret it!

We loved working with Karen! I think her tagline (on IG) is something like ‘the wedding planner for chill couples’ which is perfect. I’m the type of person/bride who had their ideas, vision etc and thought ok, I’m good…then we hired Karen and everything went from aight ok good, to GREAT.!! All of my ideas came to life, were handled flawlessly (and off my brain!!!), then my favorite thing about her- she’s able to pivot creatively (because no matter what, something will go off your original plan o_0) and she has a great eye & taste to figure out what looks good. She will make it happen and handle it immediately (examples: how staple menus nicely when they didn’t print on both sides (not just crunch them together) / how to layout your ceremony-rice-toss-packets when what you originally had would blow away your windy wedding day/ a box of stuff to make a “couples gift box signature table” but didn’t have time to plan it -ummm, she laid it out y’all / and then she always takes lovely artsy IG pics of your day that you can repost and then look at again cus .. that’s what you’re gonna do lol.. ). Basically all impossible stuff you can’t possibly think of - she will fill in all those gaps. What I’m trying to say is *you can trust her* :)))). Cus essentially that’s the job right? Someone that’s got your back and executes like a professional ninja. She’s that and more, I kid you not. I had two friends hire her after seeing her in action at my wedding. They are happy clients as well 3 Thank You Karen!!!!
