Meet Kristin Crooks, owner and lead planner of Besher Events. ​ Besher was a nickname given to Kristin by her father who passed away on 9/11/16. After he passed away, Kristin decided to pursue her passion while honoring her dad, by launching her own event planning company on 9/11/17. ​ Kristin always knew event planning was her passion. Throughout her life, she was constantly organizing get-togethers and events for her friends and family. During college, she took her event planning a step further and interned at a major Chicago event planning business, where she was able to learn the tricks of the trade.

    A friend of mine recommended Besher Events after she heard that I got engaged. At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to hire a wedding planner but I ended up deciding to do it in order to help things run smoothly and I am SO glad I did! Kristin kept me on track throughout the entire process and helped with everything from finding vendors in my budget, to planning the aesthetics of the wedding, to having meetings with vendors, and even helped us plan/choreograph our surprise first dance! It was a total hit with our guests and set the tone for a full dance floor all night long. Kristin knows what she's doing when it comes to the wedding planning process and dealing with vendors. If you're considering hiring her for your wedding - DO IT!

    We heard about Besher Events through a friend of a friend and it was the best decision we could’ve possibly made throughout wedding planning! Kristin immediately started suggesting and contacting vendors, and helping come up with the theme/design for the whole wedding. We gave her general ideas and lots of pictures off Pinterest and she made it all come to life. She truly put so much effort into making our day perfect (she even made the sun come out!!) and if anything went wrong we didn’t even notice. Not only is Kristin an amazing wedding planner, but she was also an amazing friend to lean on for the entire 1.5 years of planning. We’ve gotten SO many compliments about how our wedding turned out and also how well organized it was. We are truly blessed to have been able to work with Besher Events!!

    If you are in search of a wedding planner with amazing attention to detail, utmost professionalism, and amazing vendor references, look no further than Besher Events. We worked directly with the owner and her assistant to plan our entire wedding and I can’t thank them enough for making my wedding dreams a reality. We were pretty new to the wedding scene in general, but Besher Events made sure to provide a hassle-free, low-stress planning experience for me and my now-husband. From recommending all of our stellar vendors to laughing and working with us through this journey, I can say for certain that my wedding wouldn’t have been what it was without Besher Events.     Kristin with Besher Events was our full service wedding planner for our wedding. We cannot recommend her enough. She was there from the start to go on a venue tour and helped us to envision our wedding day at our venue during that time. Kristin was prompt with responses and handled all of our vendors with professionalism. Kristin kept us on track throughout the year of planning for our wedding. Kristin is very thorough, detailed, and organized. On our wedding day, Kristin was there bright an early and began setting up the venue. She had a detailed schedule for all vendors. Our venue couldn’t have looked more beautiful due to Kristin’s eye for detail. The day ran so smooth and on time with no hiccups. We would recommend Besher Events for event. We cannot thank you enough for making our dream turn into a reality and making us so speechless with how it turned out!
