When you’re in the business of bringing people together, it never feels like work. Calmerin Designs and Events (CDE) is an event planning and coordinating company. We are a family-owned and operated business. CDE was born after many requests from friends and family to offer our love for hosting events to a service we can provide to others. The CDE squad has planned intimate affairs for 10 guests to more elaborate weddings for 500 guests.

We create personalized events that are a reflection of each client’s unique style and personality. We work with you from start to finish, pick up from somewhere in between your planning process, to bring life to your vision, or just ensure that your day flows smoothly by coordinating details on the day.

Description

The Pearl Package: This is the whole shabang, the mother of all wedding planning. So epic, we named it after my mother, Perla (cute, huh? Can I get a daughter of the year award?). Package includes The Jade Package.

The Opal: This is like when you thought you can do it all but like half-way in and 5 cases of wine later, you're carving SOS on your coffee table. We fill in the rest of the gaps for you. ​ Package includes The Jade Package.

    Calmerin was the best investment we made for our wedding, hands down!!! Glennie and Ashton were incredible from the start to finish. We knew from the very first phone call that they were going to 100% on top of it, and we were right! The organization and detail of this team is top-notch. We hired them for Jade Package, which is similar to day-of-coordination (which is really more month-of), and was super important given our majority DIY wedding with 170 guests. Plus, Glennie and Ashton were such lovely, kind, and genuine people!! While the bulk of the details and communication was in the month leading up to our wedding, we had access to all of the planning docs as soon as we sent our deposit. The planning docs are AMAZING and so detailed, making us feel like we could transfer all of our knowledge/plans/thoughts to them. This was really important for us since we were doing the majority of the planning, and they executed phenomenally. We were also able to ask them for questions, such as a DJ recommendation. Glennie and Ashton were fantastic during the thorough venue walk-through, video calls, rehearsal with our wedding party, and on the day-of. We were able to drop off all of our wedding stuff (2 SUVs full) the morning of with set-up directions, and we showed up and it looked better than we had imagined/planned for! The tight set-up window from our venue was stressful, but Glennie and Ashton made sure everything was ready to go. They were so great at communicating with our vendors (we got many compliments!) They only texted us 1 small question the day-of, knowing that we were stressed and busy. They were AMAZING throughout the whole night, making sure we were on schedule and that we had everything we needed. We could go on and on about how amazing the team was and how happy we are that we worked with them. Best decision, book them before their calendars fill!

    They helped us have a smooth wedding day! I would highly recommend them. They went above and beyond to meet with us a couple times prior to the event, to make sure all was smooth sailing and it was :) I didn’t stress the day of my wedding thanks to Lauren

    Glennie and Natalie were purely amazing! Our venue was very picky and difficult. We got some last minute things thrown at us but regardless they did everything to make sure our day was special. Very organized, detail oriented, and great communication. You honestly get the best planners for the price! I was so amazed with everything they did and accomplish. You won’t have to worry about anything with Calmerin Designs on your side. Book them, you won’t regret it.

    Highly recommend CDE! We worked closely with Cassandra since our wedding was based in LA and both her and Glennie were extremely detail oriented and helpful in ensuring we reached our dream wedding goals. We had started working with Calmerin just 6 months before our 120 person two location wedding. We had so many questions and they made sure to help guide us along the way. Their rate was very reasonable and they had great experience in assisting us with various areas of the event. Their organizational tools via Google docs which were very detailed allowing us to make sure all pieces of details aligned.
