The most amazing event coordinator
Where do I begin to say how thankful I am for Lisa! She is the most graceful, kind and professional coordinator! Lisa helped me plan my husbands 40th birthday and I can truly say I would not have been able to do it without her. From our very first meeting I knew I loved her and wanted her to be my coordinater! She came prepared and was so helpful with answering all my questions. She knew all the best vendors and made helpful recommendations for our party. She could not have made it anymore easy and clear for me to plan this party. Not only is she an expert event planner, she goes above and beyond to make sure the event comes out perfect! There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Lisa! She really is the best at what she does and I am SO THANKFUL for her.
Lack of Communication
Unfortunately, I had a poor experience working with Lisa. I had hired Lisa for a partial planning package, and she’d made it clear it was vital I find a venue ASAP as my wedding is in April. I paid her extra to help me find a venue (something most planners will include without an extra fee—but I was happy to pay because I was so eager to book one). Once I paid my deposit, she stopped replying quickly. It took her over 30 hours to reply to my messages (during the week day), and she then informed me she couldn’t help me find venues until the next week, because she was out of the country. I was surprised she didn’t communicate to me when I was signing the contract that she was out of the country and unable to help until the following week (after she had told me to get a venue asap). After such a lack of communication and not having started working together, I informed her I thought it was best I find someone who could help me right away. She told me she understood but still kept my deposit despite not doing any work for us…bummer.
We could not have done it without Lisa
Lisa was absolutely amazing! I called her a few weeks before our event because I realized I could not do it all alone. She was amazing and was able to travel to coordinate our wedding reception. Lisa communicated with me every step of the way and made it so my fiancé and I could enjoy our event stress free. There is no way we could have done it without her.
