Like many in the industry, I fell in love with planning weddings when I started planning my own in 2017. At the time, I was a corporate lawyer at a big firm in DC and it just hit me: I was totally in the wrong field! Since then, I have dedicated all of my free time to arranging my own events, helping my friends plan their own, and dreaming of the day that I could provide the same service for others.

My approach is simple: hear, help, and handle. I am here for YOU, to make sure you are getting all you want and need on your momentous day, with as little stress as possible.     There is truly not enough praise I can give to fully encapsulate Carmen. We started to work together right after I had booked my venue and we were the best team all throughout my wedding planning process. Even when I didn't have a true vision for my wedding in the beginning, Carmen knew just the right things to ask to see what I envisioned and she made all of my dreams come true (and more). During the planning process, Carmen is incredibly easy to communicate with. She sends regular check in emails and kept me in the loop with everything that was being done, needed to be done, and any vendor related updates in addition to zoom/phone calls. The software she uses is also incredibly user friendly and made all of the finer details so easy to visualize. On the day of our wedding, Carmen was somehow everywhere all at once and dealt with any hiccups with total grace. She conducted the set up and tear town with ease- it has truly been a pleasure to experience her work firsthand. Planning a wedding is hard work and choosing your planner is a major part of your big day. They're the person you'll spend the majority of your time with aside from your partner. I would not hesitate to recommend Carmen to anyone looking for an organized, thoughtful, and well-rounded planner.

    Carmen and her team were everything I hoped for. Her organizational skills, communication and vision are exceptional. She was exceedingly easy to work with, and was incredibly patient. I never doubted her for one second during the planning process. I chose the “full planning” suite, and she was with us every step of the way. When it came time for our big day, I had zero nerves about the production of the wedding itself. She handled everything with the upmost professionalism. We had the best day ever, thanks to her. I highly recommend Carmen - 10/10.

    During the wedding planning process, I was often asked if I was feeling stressed. Carmen was a huge part of the reason I was able to say that I wasn't! Her clear and open communication kept us informed, alleviated any worries, and ensured that I stayed on task with smaller details I was certain I'd forget. Her recommendations for vendors were fantastic and made it a lot easier to choose from all the possibilities. The flow of our wedding was really important to us, and thanks to her planning everything went perfectly. Even when there were small issues that arose (parking, people being late, missing shoes) she made sure that it was handled without needing to involve me or my husband. She anticipated so many of these issues ahead of time and had a plan in place. Additionally, when no one could figure out how to bustle my dress Carmen came to the rescue and figured it out. I was able to wear my dress all night like I wanted and I was so happy. We had such an amazing day, and it definitely could not have happened without Carmen!
